Treating Kate not very well at points in their relationshipFlirting with other girls, making Jecca guest of honour at his birthday while he was dating Kate, ditching Kate at the last moment on her birthday. Going to Verbier and getting drunk and flirting with women, while missing the Commonwelath event. Not wearing a wedding ring. Jack, Eugenie’s husband, and Philip don’t wear wedding rings, but Charles and Harry wear wedding rings. Charles stacks his with signet ring on his pinky sometimes. I think it would have been a proper modern step if he had chosen to wear a ring. Then there is the Rose situation, which is awful IF TRUE.

Problematic Points of View Saying inferm wild animals can be shot and hunting is not always bad, while camapigning against poaching. It doesn’t matter if eminent conservationists agree - I’m sure not all do, because (a) the idea that the trophy hunting money from shooting inferm animals would be properly regulated is a country is a reach, and (b) optics matter when you’re trying to spread a message. if you say shooting *some* lions and tigers and elephants is okay as long as they are past reproductive age, you’ve diluted your entire campaign message for people out there who are not paying attention to the nuance of what you’re saying. I think this was his moment of hypocrisy, which allowed him to justify his own flirtation with wild animal hunting from the past, while also allowing him to continue his conservation campaigning without bothering his conscience. 

Suggesting that Africa control their population boom while Kate was pregnant with Louis. Sure, the situation is Africa from the situaion in England, and he was tlaking in the context of what overpopulation will mean for African wildlife, but he should have considered that Africa might not want to be lectured by a privileged white man who is about to have his third child. However, he seems to have since learnt from his mistake, and now does the work, with less lecturing and opining. The last video he did for Tusk Trust showed him listening to the locals and learning, which I thought was a great move. 

These have been my main issues with William. 

KATE

I find very less to criticise about Kate - but my one complaint is that she could have applied herself more before marriage. The lack of a robust resume before marriage has haunted her till date, and at one point made The Queen ask, “What does she do exactly?” Sometimes, to not get things wrong, you end up not trying things. Or doing less than you would if you were open to taking risks.  I think that has been the case with Kate. Kate has played it very safe because she has known, almost her entire adulthood, that there is a chance she would be a future Queen of England. I’m sure that factored into every decision she made. Had that not been in her future, I think she should have done a lot more than she has done before her marriage to William. That Dragon boat race? She would have done it. A photography course that takes you to the Himalayas, where you have to camp in extreme weather conditions? She would have done it. Still, I think she should have been a little more proactive with doing things. Yes, she worked at Jigsaw for a bit and then at her parent’s company, but she was also seem parting a lot. She worked for 3-days a week at Jigsaw, and she worked there for a year (Nov 2006 to Nov 2007). Then, she worked at her family business until her wedding. But I think she could have done more, especially considering what we know of her now - she has a detail-oriented, problem-solving and creative mind, with real passion about children and mental health - she coujld have done more. Curating an art exhibition with the proceeds going to a children’s charity? (She did do some charity work, but not enough, IMO) A photography course that takes her on a camping trip into the wilderness, and gives her a new experience? Screw William and working 3 days a week to accommodate his schedule - girl you do you for a bit. Give yourself an identiy outside of William;’s girlfriend, in as much as you can. I think it could have been done. I think she missed out on that opportunity. I know she is more than “waity kaity”, long-legged beautiful brunette party girl that she was presented as in her 20s. I’m just not sure if *she* knew she could be more. 

I believe she has made up for it now, with her earnest, well-researched, results-driven work in her fields of interest. Heads Together was her brainchild and I think it was am ambitious project, and a great success. Just imagine, how much more she could have done, if she had put her clearly great problem-solving skills, and her creativity (talent and interest in photography, art, etc) to work before marriage. 

As for relationships with other bands, it really is sth else to think how Screw waited outside the place they would meet with them, once, in the snow and refused to get inside till they had arrived. Byo approached Ruki and Ruki did give advice to Byo and Byo was super shy, if I remember well. Only Kazuki managed to make friends with one of them (hero xD) and that, because Kazuki moved past the fear the others probably had for the Gazette’s cold exterior and saw sth in Aoi and kept asking to be teased and was warm to him, even when he was getting super defensive like what are you saying? Kazuki was always like ohhh we are playing, do talk down on me if that’s what you like or sth xD. They were teasing of course, but Kazuki saw Aoi is not really cold and I think that’s very sweet. And Aoi did show his warmth back with presents, support and going to lives and that’s how Mizuki and Chiyu approached him too. They all could see he was a softie and started teasing xD. But Aoi aside, the others did do sweet stuff for other bands too. Ruki helped Saga and Nao with a composition once and they thanked him online about it. And he did hang out with K and Hiroto for a while but I don’t think he does anymore based on his latest interviews. He was helping without being asked. Uruha and Reita were said to have gone to AND eccentric agent’s last live and I was shocked. Kili was a roadie for Aoi once so maybe that’s why, and Reita wrote a supportive letter to Ken and that he liked his skills and all. (I am still bitter Ikuma and Ruki haven’t really had such connection) Ken-chan said he was given support by Reita by the way, and that he couldn’t believe it either. What else? Oh Alice Nine wanted to help with that by the way. Remember the battle royales? The first one and second one, as many of you might remember, were hilarious and everyone seemed to have fun, but the last one didn’t go well and that’s probably why they didn’t do it again. It was an A9 episode when Shou and Tora mentioned they were trying to help everyone chill out, but they mentioned Screw were trying to keep their cool persona and they mentioned another band, which I don’t recall, and it was indeed kind of obvious. Screw did mostly look like one of the PSC bands focusing on cool looks, but they were never really the cool guys. Screw fans know well they were mostly kids who enjoyed making music and playing with everyone. They were always serious about work but they weren’t as divalicious as they usually looked during festivals. And especially Byo, who was indeed not doing much during the last battle royale, and it had felt awkward to me, since he is playful, but I thought that ok, he always liked to look cool even as a kid (he said that in interviews) so maybe he had felt bad they had lost in the previous battle royales and with so many senpais around him, maybe he felt shy to do that again. Maybe he felt being like that was affecting the image of his band. There was one event after that that wasn’t recorded, with the bowling competition, don’t know if you guys remember. And every PSC band was posting stuff on twitter but the only picture we got was Reno dressed weirdly xD. At that event it was said the Gazette did participate but we never learnt how much. Besides Aoi, of course, they had said he played along. Reita did get along with K too. Nowadays, Uruha and Aoi go to guitar events that Hiroto does too and other guitarists, so I am glad to see them more involved the last few years. But yeah it had been many times, through little things, that you saw them interacting behind the scenes and you could tell they tried with to become more involved. Oh and I remembered one more...the time Aoi bought many ice creams to Takeru. How sweet was that?! xD I don’t remember shit about Kai but the fact he had a whole interview with Nao means he might actually have tried to approach him too but it could be nth as well, i don’t know. Miyavi seemed to get along with Kai a lot during the early PSC events. And maybe Kra?
