got bored on like something night, idk what day it is and haven't since summer started, my mom has some crochet potholders so obviously i frogged it and made it into this guy :3 and three granny squares for a different WIP also totally not letting him lay on my arm so i'm typing w/ one hand he's a beaver btw

Have a look at the front and back pieces of this sweater that I very sadly have to completely frog and start again!! Turns out I was using size 5 (3.75 mm) needles instead of the 5 mm (size 8) needles I was supposed to be using and the sweater is way way too small! Luckily its actually a pretty fast knit so while this is frustrating it isn’t as bad as it could be. And now I am very good at this particular cable pattern lol
This is my first time having to completely rip back a project and start again and Im sure it wont be the last :’(
This is going to be the first project where I am actually frogging because I'm not happy with it. As you can see I'm almost done with it but as I have tried it on and trying to figure out sizing, I'm just not happy with it. Its a project that no longer gives me joy of wanting to finish it. So I've made the decision to frog it and use the yarn for a different project.
I wasn't too keen on the pattern after realizing that it wasn't size inclusive. I love being able to share the patterns that I work on but I also want to make sure the patterns I use and share are able to be enjoyed by everyone. But as I came to the end of the pattern I realized that the parts that are supposed to cover my chest, didn't feel like it would have enough coverage at all and I have a fairly small chest!
I truly wanted to love this pattern, but in the end it just wasn't it. I would not have felt good wearing this out and about. I would rather use the yarn on a full coverage shirt or another pattern that I feel like I would feel good in.

Sent a week trying to do the set up for a Banana Boat shawl.
 Kid sat on the damn needle (one of my KPs) and broke my interchangeable, shedding stitches EVERYWHERE.
 Forced to frog it.
I do not even have the energy to freaking start something new right now.
...Great day for knitting. At some unknown point one of the munchkins BROKE one of my lovely interchangeable needles. ((I managed to pick up the stitches it lost when the wooden point got broken in freaking two. Annnnnd a few minutes before I discovered that, the older one grabbed a needle I was working on another project with and ran off, yanking it off the needles partially and unraveling parts. Had to frog it.
