Friends, this is the ultimate snack. The recipe has only two ingredients (if you don’t count the salt). Takes maybe 10 minutes from start to finish. Has a thrilling texture — real deep fried crunch! Doesn’t cost a lot. Everyone loves it. Really, what more can you ask? Get some packaged egg roll or wonton skins. Cut them into pieces. Heat any kind of high heat vegetable oil you like (canola, peanut, soybean, etc) to about 360 degrees (a tiny piece of food will sizzle when you put it in the pan) and fry the pieces a few at a time for 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Place on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt if you like.
