<3 you can throw them all into the mix! and ugh yes happily. so this one is such a niggle at the back of my brain, but it's just sitting there. i have all of one section written, and whenever i open it back up again i'm sort of stuck. because i know what's going to happen next - the whole idea is that Will didn't know what they were planning, we zoom in right at the end of FR and he's just found out Benji's in hospital, and that he nearly died. but no one told him! and then it's the realisation that maybe they didn't trust him.

Nope.  What a horrible question.  FAVORITE BOOK YOU RECENTLY FINISHED: There’s a doable question.  I recently finished John Darnielle’s Universal Harvester and highly recommend it.  It’s not the horror novel it’s being billed as, but it’s deeply unsettling and if you grew up in a small midwestern town in the 90s, it’s like being haunted by the ghost of your childhood.

so I feel like I’ve probably moaned at you about most things in this fic 😂 and that’s most of my campfire ability! But I shall rant again about this blooming ending. I wrote one version, looked at it, looked again, and it doesn’t work. And it’s all because of the bloody plot that’s worked its way into it.

the boys should have just stuck to FWB, no catching feelings. ‘Cause now I’m trying to get them back together when they’re not quite fitting. So then a part of me is wondering, maybe they don’t get back together. Maybe it’s not a happy ending…or maybe I try both? Idk, I basically need someone to write this thing for me, that would be lovely!

I don't at all...I'm guessing "Will & Benji have sex in lots of different places, fall out and then get back together somewhere along the line"'s a bit too long, right? Feel free to throw suggestions xD

👥 Whose POV is the story in?

It's mostly in Will's - it sort of naturally fell into his POV, and because he tends to be the more insecure of the two of them in terms of their relationship (when I write them, at least) it lends itself to some lovely emotional angst along the way. It also means I can lean more on the "look Benji and Ethan have this super clear and strong connection, and it makes him really jealous because HOW does this man manage to draw people in like that and make them love him, whilst Will just...can't". I may end up writing some deleted scenes from Benji's POV, just to make sure I'm hitting the right marks in his responses, but those will never see the light of day xD
