Seal of Discord, Seal of Rage & Seal of Strength - Riftbound Overnumbered Card Art by Aleksandra Alekseeva
So... I've been thinking a bit on an idea for I guess what I would essenitally pitch if I worked at Riot Games and decided to make something for the Freljord. It would be animated in a similar yet different enough art style to Arcane, involving Lissandra as the villain, and I'm a bit torn as to who would be the heroes. Lissandra just feels like the one to make a villain for a Freljord-centered form of media. Or at least one of the villains. The heroes are maybe obvious choices to some, but I'm trying to be a bit creative.
For whom to make the heroes, I am a bit torn between two pairs. Ashe & Sejuani or Tryndamere & Olaf. Ashe & Sejuani make the most sense, as they are the other two main Iceborn faction leaders alongside Lissandra within the Freljord, at least as far as major ones that I know... but a while ago, an idea came to me of like an animated movie starring Tryndamere & Olaf fighting Lissandra to avenge Ashe & Sejuani. I'm honestly more into the Tryndamere & Olaf versus Lissandra idea, but I do think the Ashe & Sejuani versus Lissandra idea is more tied into the lore that people love to eat up. I guess another way to go is all four fighting Lissandra, or different pairs of characters. Maybe pair Ashe & Olaf, or what I could maybe see as a bit more likely, pair up Tryndamere & Sejuani.
Thinking about the pairing of Tryndamere & Sejuani, I could see that they team up with each other to avenge Ashe, the one they share a connection through. Ashe is Trydamere's wife, while Ashe was like a sister to Sejuani. At least, I think it's been stated in some material that Ashe and Sejuani were like sisters to each other. Anyways! I could see it being that Ashe fell in battle to Lissandra, leaving her pretty much immortal husband behind, along with their tribe.
The main idea for a potential opening I got so far is this: separately, the Avarosan and the Winter's Claw have decided to attack the Frostguard, coincidentally attacking on the same day or night. While Lissandra and her forces have not foreseen this, she takes it in stride. The attack seems to be going well at first, slowly going downhill for the two attacking factions. Ashe, Tryndamere, Sejuani, and Olaf all make it to where Lissandra has stationed herself, readying their assault, only to be quickly met with many Frostguard constructs. Fighting through it all, they make it before Lissandra, and for the four of them, things start not going as they had planned or even hoped...
...And that is all I got for an opening so far. Ashe could fall in battle at some point during this, and maybe Olaf is flung away hard enough that he seemingly disappears from the Freljord. Either that or just cut Olaf and have Udyr standing alongside Sejuani. Olaf is fated to gently die of old age, so him dying during the attack on Frostguard forces doesn't make too much sense. Or maybe Olaf could still show up in this hypothetical animated project, just later down the line of this story, Tryndamere and Sejuani are looking for him and his potential to be an unstoppable force to aid in their new attack on the Frostguard.
Some other Freljord champions could show up as well, maybe as smaller parts in the story or even just cameos. Or even just not appearing at all, if deemed unnecessary. Nunu & Willump feel like they would be left out of this, while maybe Volibear could work, but I feel like leaving out the Freljord's demigods would be better for the story. Lissandra is already powerful, and I think the conflict of this project being essentially a battle for who rules the Freljord is what could work well for an introduction to this region. Maybe a smaller scale story centered on Braum or Gragas could work well for a story centered on introducing the Freljord too, while down the line another Freljord project could work with focusing on Volibear, Anivia, Ornn, and the other demigods.
My wandering freljord got to piltover right before distaster and he will be be going through it (badly)

Aurora's character design is baffling and awful.
My biggest issue is the focus on the 'witch' aesthetic. Modern League of Legends has done a good job of subverting tropes in unique and interesting ways, but Aurora clings so hard to the "witch" aesthetic to the point of nonsense. She has a dinky little wand, something few champions actually wield (Let alone Vastayah (Which Aurora is) of whom Aurora is the only one to use any sort of wand or staff for her magic), something that also, in my opinion, does nothing to speak to the sort of magic she uses. Her witch hat is also so absurd in the context of Runeterra. Mages in Runeterra, both champions and non-champions, don't tend to dress like typical fantasy wizards, instead wearing a variety of outfits based on their character and region. The only other champions to wear hats like that are Veigar and Lulu, whose entire points are being an over the top parody of a warlock and wizard respectively. Why does Aurora, someone we're meant to take seriously, wearing the same hat? Her outfit is also bad. It continues the trend of Freljordian champions not being properly dressed for the region, but it's even worse for her because it's a sort of coat, but leaves so much skin exposed that she'd still freeze. Not to mention she literally had a more practical coat on in her teaser visual novel and isn't from the Freljord, so she would be unused to the cold. It also, again, speaks nothing of her character and honestly I feel like it clashes with her character. It's very fancy, very ornate and detailed for someone who prefers their own company and spends most of their time alone with the elk they befriended. Her being a rabbit vastayah and being teased as a rabbit for ages was such a missed potential, it's just the ears and tail, they didn't even bother with that concept.
And the funniest part about this is that she has many traits that no other champions do, notably her freckles (Including down to her shoulders), thicker almost curly hair, and glasses. LoL really doesn't like to diversify its roster, whether that's on a major scale like different body types, ages, races, etc or minor ones like the traits that Aurora has. As much as I hate Aurora's design, it's honestly really nice to see things like this and I hope this becomes a trend going forward
