So this might be completely useless for you but in regard to your burn, do honey or ketchup have histamines? I've used both to treat burns (applied immediately after the burn) and they both prevent swelling, blistering and scarring (the last time I used ketchup on my fingers after I forgot I wasn't fireproof and the next day it was like nothing had even happened.) Maybe this could be useful in the future? If not, sorry :/
Both those things are very, very high in histamine, unfortunately, as theyāre both delicious and I enjoy them very much. Having worked in kitchens for a good solid 10+ years of my life and hearing just about every old wiveās tale for burn remedies, I can also say theyāre not recommended to be applied to fresh burns, as you risk bacterial infection. Especially with things like ketchup which contain citric acid in the ingredients, which can worsen burns/skin irritation. So while I donāt doubt itās perhaps helped you with minor burns, itās also something Iād be wary of, along with the myth about applying mustard to burns:

The only recommended treatment for fresh burns is to flush the area with cold water, and then once the skin has cooled enough, some sort of burn ointment or aloe vera. I once had a co-worker whose burn from the steamer on the coffee machine turned septic because of home remedies likeĀ āput mustard on itā (she used honey and egg whites) so while I appreciate the sentiment, please do be careful, Iād hate for you to accidentally hurt yourself on top of any other injuries <3
