as we riding the wave out to some new work soon, I’m sharing books that speak to the path in real time. the ones made me and break me everytime. some I’m reading in the month some I’ll be re reading.

we’re opening with a classic: the four agreements by don miguel ruiz.

four codes. a lifetime of practice. → be impeccable with your word
→ don’t take anything personally
→ don’t make assumptions
→ always do your best

these laws ain’t easy but when you start to embed them life starts to show you the real.

Once you accept that there is no such thing as “ugly” art the void in you gets filled so much faster. Allow yourself to create whatever comes to you.

The magic you’re looking for is in the artistic outlet you’re avoiding.

Focus on yourself and what brings you good feelings. It doesn't matter what other people are doing, thinking, saying, wearing, etc. ALL THAT MATTERS is YOU. FOCUS ON YOURSELF. On your life. On your career. On your relationship with YOURSELF. Become your own best friend, your own hero, your own favorite artist. Nobody will come and save you, no one can come and take your hands controlled by your mind, your heart, your soul, and create anything on your behalf. Nobody has access to you like you do.

Art chooses you. It’s not something you pursue—it’s something that pursues you, relentlessly.
