1703. Jan. - den 31. - Bischoffsheim - 1703 Febr. - den 1ten - über die Tauber. - den 2ten - den 5ten
Den folgenden 31. Jan. kamen Sie des Abends spät unter vieler Beschwerlichkeit von der Kälte, und bösen Weg, welche beyde Sie öffters zu Fuß zu gehen nöthigten, doch ohne Anstoß zu Bischoffsheim im Mayntzischen an der Tauber gelegenem Städtgen an. Nachdem Sie hier wohl ausgeruhet, und man sich wieder mit nöthigem Proviant, weilen an den meisten Orten auf dem Land nichts zu bekommen war, versehen, giengen Sie hier über die Tauber, und so nach dem Fränckischen auf Uffenheim, ein Anspachisches Städtgen, von da Herr Baron von Forstner, des Printz Friderichs damaliger Cavalier, nach Anspach voraus geschickt wurde, im Namen derer Durchl. Printzen am dasigen Hof ein Compliment zu machen, und Derer Ankunfft zu notificiren, welche inzwischen ihme gleichfals nachfolgten, und gegen Abend in dasigem Post-Hause wohl anlangten, von einem Cavalier im Namen seiner Gnädigsten Herrschafft empfangen, und das Quartier bey Hofe zu nehmen, auch so gleich dahin begleitet wurden. In Abwesenheit des Regierenden Herrn Marggrafens, welche damals in Nürnberg sich aufhielten, aber so gleich per Staffetta von derer Printzen Ankunfft advisiret wurden, geschahe die erste Visite bey dem Printzen und der Printzeßin, welche beyde durch Dero Bezeugungen wiesen, daß Sie diesen drey Gästen so wohl der Hoch-Fürstl. Verwandtschaft, als deren Gemüthern nach, sehr nahe angiengen, wie man dann sich äusserst angelegen seyn liesse, denen Printzen alle Vergnügung und Freude zu verschaffen, deren Sie sich auch nach Wunsch ein paar Tag bedienten, und so dann den 5. daran ein Ende machten, und noch selbigen Abend so wohl bey dem Regierenden Herrn Marggrafen, welche indessen auch wieder bey Hofe angekommen, als auch dessen Herrn Bruder und Printzeßin Schwester Abschied nahmen, weilen Sie willens waren, Dero Reyse Morgens frühe fortzusetzen.

The following 31st. Jan. late in the evening they came to Bischofsheim, a little town in the Mainzian domain situated upon the Tauber, with much onerosity from the cold and bad road, which both oftentimes forced them to go by foot, but without any harm. After they had rested well here, and one provisioned themselves with the needed supplies, since there was nothing to be had at most places in the countryside, they went over the Tauber here, and thus towards the Franconian domain towards Uffenheim, an Ansbachian little town, from which Baron von Forstner, the cavalier of Prince Friedrich at the time, was sent ahead to Ansbach, to make a compliment in the names of those Serene Princes at the court there, and to notify Their arrival, which in the meantime followed after him in the same way, and arrived well in the evening at the local poststation, were received by a cavalier in the name of his Most Gracious Lordship, and to take up the quarter at court, were accompanied there immediately as well. In the absence of the Ruling Lord Margrave, who was staying in Nürnberg at the time, but was immediately advised on the arrival of the Princes via courier, the first visit happened with the Prince and the Princess, which both showed through Their attestations, that They were very closely concerned with these three guests both because of the High Princely kinship as well as their spirits, as one took close care to provide these princes with all delights and joys, which They used as they wished for a few days, and then put an end to that on the 5th, and made their farewell on the same evening to the Ruling Lord Margrave, who in the meantime had arrived at court again, as well as this Lord's brother and Princess Sister, because they were determined to continue their journey early in the morning.
