Mandalorian iron used to keep dark siders?
[Confirmed] Star Wars Tales of the Jedi - Dark Lords of the Sith Issue #2
But there is a second wall of protection around the dark siders' remains -- the tomb is constructed of Mandalorian iron!
[Confirmed] Evil Never Dies: The Sith Dynasties
Lumiya tasked Flint with subjugating the Phelleem sector and killing Luke Skywalker while she prepared an alien species called the Nagai (or N'Gai) for the invasion of galactic space. Nothing could make Flint happier, but instead of killing Skywalker, Flint was persuaded by an old friend to turn back to the light. For many years thereafter, Flint was kept in a cell of Mandalorian iron on an Alliance safeworld, healing from the traumatic influence of the dark side. Eventually, he returned to his home planet Belderone to live out a simple life. Lumiya vowed to deal with Flint when circumstances allowed and sought a new apprentice. She didn't have to look far.
[Not Officially Confirmed But Very Likely] The Clone Wars - Season 7, Episode 11: Shattered & tie-in material
Ahsoka: Impressive. I suspect even Maul couldn't get out of there. Bo-Katan Kryze: A relic of a bygone era when Mandalorians had reason to imprison you Force-wielding maniacs."
Mandalorian vault The proud warriors of Mandalore have many ways of dealing with off-world intruders. For a time, they dealt with Force-wielding enemies in particular through powerful technology, including encasing their foes in a vault-like prison that could be hauled from place to place much like a slab of carbonite.
On a philosophical level, I think that “anyone can use the Force” leans more towards the Dark side.
Force sensitivity is gifted to an individual prior to birth, without reason. There are no genetics involved in the number of midichlorians a being receives. It’s a part of the mystery of life. It’s pure gift. So even the way that a being becomes Force sensitive is a completely passive experience.
In keeping with this passivity, the Jedi teach the use of their gift as passive. They allow it to flow through them, to be used by it or in cooperation with it. Training is undergone with the specific goal of refining and restraint. Their weapon and fighting style of choice is defensive in nature and only used as needed. To the Jedi, they are the tools to be used at the discretion of the Force and in the service of peace and harmony.
On the other hand, the Sith are the complete opposite, right? They see this giftedness as selectivity, as opportunity. So they seek to control this process from start to finish, to create life and prevent death, to imbue certain individuals with Force sensitivity and determine its potency.
Then the Sith pursue their gift to amass power, and they have no goals beyond their own selfish desires. Their method is aggressive and controlling in nature, even to the point of dominating and violating the peace of their kyber crystals. To them, the Force is a tool at their disposal.
So, in this way, when a person who is born without the gift, without the base level of midichlorians that would make them Force sensitive, seeks to use the Force as if they had been, it slots them more on the side of the Sith. There is a kind of aggressive, grasping, selfishness there that has a Dark side taint to it. Even if a person seems to have noble goals or Jedi-like intentions, no matter what their reasoning is, the need to have this power that wasn’t gifted to them and to pursue the Force as a tool to be used, is thinking like a Dark sider.
Because one can think and act like a Jedi without ever having Jedi powers. Compassion, martial arts, mediation, meditation in communion with the universe, even wielding a lightsaber - all of these things are possible without “using the Force”.
So what is this need for additional powers? Why should it be that “anyone can use the Force”?
FORCE USER TREE
The Hidden Path
A rem anent of a time before the Jedi were Light or Dark, the Hidden Path is based around healing through touch. It is also a way to ensure the survival and continuation of the Order. The Hidden Path is thus named because it is a secret faction among the Jedi Order and there is also a version among the Sith, but it is no secret there. Those upon this Path may be considered sacred whores of a sort, receiving compensation for their talents and offering services to Jedi Knights and Masters in exchange. There are no long-lasting attachments formed, thus no risk of Jedi falling to the Dark side, supposedly. They are capable of rebalancing a Jedi through touch, providing a listening ear, and in some cases bearing force sensitive children for the Order. Often they are openly trained as Healers or as Jedi Service Corps, but in secret when they hit late adolescence begin specialized training within the Hidden Path.
Unlike Jedi Knights, they are allowed to form mating bonds if they have a destined mate, but the Council is more likely to approve a triad than a duo for formal acknowledgement as a formal bond.

Multiverse AU Force Sensitives/Force wielders
Species Summary- I don’t know, a lot of weird stuff like God like beings called celestials giving the power to use the force to people, and microscopic organisms called midichlorians living inside their blood, granting them these powers. It’s a lot of weird stuff. I can’t fully explain but it doesn’t matter to the story so. Everyone from this universe has the force within them but most don’t have enough for it to do anything. If you have a little bit, you’re a force sensitive. If you have enough to command it, you’re a force wielder.
Population: Extinct (if you want to make one just ask me it’s OK)
Bloodline: Extinct
Power Level: Ultra Impact
Universe: Star Wars
Power Description:
There is way too much to get specific, so ask me if you have a question about one of the powers listed. I have them written down on google docs. And listing these powers does not mean they have the ability to do all of them.
Basic Skills (Force Sensitives can have these powers):
Force users are enhanced in every physical skill
Danger sense
Precognition
Sense Any living being in the general area even they are not able to see them (range gets larger as you get more powerful)
Ability to sense other force sensitives
Being able to sense death, birth, and pregnancy, especially if it’s someone close to them physically, a loved one, if it’s a lot of people at one time, or if it’s someone else strong in the force.
Light side powers:
Jedi trance
Healing trance
Telekinesis
Telepathy
Force Reading
Force jump
Force speed (only ever seen once lmao)
Lightning absorption
Ability to transfer their own life force into something or someone
Extended lifespan
If they learn to become a force ghost before they die, their body fades to nothing after death, and they can return as one though they will eventually fade away.
Darkside Abilites:
Sith Trance
Telekinesis
Telepathy
Force Reading
Forcite
Force jump
Force freeze
Force Choke
Force lightning
Force possession
idk what to call this other than force FaceTime
Take and/or consume someone else’s life force
They Explode in blue fire when they die (I think this was made non-canon, but I don’t care)
Sith Alchemy (I listed it, but I still hate it)
the dark side of the force is draining on the body, and often causes scars, bruises, and the appearance of being dead. When people go full Darkside, their eyes turn sith yellow.
grey Jedi can learn both light side and dark side abilities
Is it possible that you're secretly a little bit of a nerd?
If by 'nerd' you mean an intellectual, then yes.
In order to move and fight at the speeds I do, there is on demand math required. The force is a guide, not a guarantee. In order to build, modify, repair, and hack electronics of all sorts, from ships to droids, requires knowledge of robotics, programming, engineering, and electrical work.
Consider that as a sample of what I can do, and why I can do it.
The truth is this: every great force user is something of a 'nerd'. If they are not a philosopher nor engineer, not an artist nor a strategist... then they are not great.
Jedi should use the Force to completely disregard logic and physics. They should overcomplicate their daily actions by overusing Fancy Little Tricks. Luke Skywalker should hover a foot above the ground at all times and propel himself forward with his hands clasped neatly behind his back. His feet should never touch the ground. Instead of turning around all Jedi should simply Rotate Midair. I also think they shouldn’t use cups. The liquids they consume should levitate in front of them like the water orbs on the ISS. I want to see Ashoka Tano drinking a wobbly blob of hovering soup right out of the air with a straw. Obi-Wan Kenobi needs to rotate himself to a reclining position instead of lying down and I think that Yoda should just mind trick people into believing that he’s wearing clothes
