Shadow only says this after touching some zombots and nothing happening because his Ultimate Lifeform physiology took longer to infect so it's a reasonable assumption in the heat of the moment

if Shadow hadn't kept getting reinfected because his confidence led to recklessness, there's a possibility that his system would've fought it off without running

similar to how hedgehogs are resistant to venom, not completely immune

metal sonic do canonically has a chao pet! it’s steal the chao in one of the mobile spin offs and it’s dark chaos chao: chaos type chao is the type of chao that requires a lot of care to have a regular chao to become into one which goes to show metal sonic do has a caring side

I forgot about that attack. Didn't think the chao had a name tho.

It certainly does take a lot of work.

I once had a Metal Sonic RP blog where the main plot was Metal after Free Riders doing his own thing and raising Chao hoping to unlock some secret power to use. Since some Chao were sick, he kidnapped Cream to heal them. The plan was for him to slowly have a redemption arc from interacting with Cream.
