I settled on chlorocruorin blood for Black Arms a while ago but...

it's a struggle to find anything too specific on chlorocruorin blood's viscosity but I compared features to hemocyanin, which I did find to have higher viscosity (both pigments are larger and free-floating in the blood plasma)

but this much? maybe some other component or a reaction to air to avoid bleeding out (chlorocruorin lacks blood cells--no blood cells, no clotting)

he instilled in this son a sense of always moving forward because he didn't want to talk about his past
