All my light sources ended up changing my wefts' colors too much so I had no choice but to invest in a small Lightbox. I mean, when your product's strength is its unique shades of colors, you can't sell it with a bunch of yellowish pictures. 😫 It's a Foldio2 from @orangemonkieteam and It's perfect for a small workplace like mine. Anybody else got experience with it? Do you like it? 🤔 Well, all my weft pictures need to be replaced. 😵. Let's get to work !!! 💪 #foldio #foldio2 #photography #lightbox #weft #boutiquelawrichai
Regram from our friend @thehorologium - "It's Australian!" @r.gauthier said when he showed us one of his two new Insight Micro-Rotor Lady watches. What's Australian, you ask? The mother-of-pearl. A serious piece of horology with, as @baniwatch noted, touches such as the simple curved line on the strap that turns it from a sporty rubber strap to a dressy one. 2017 Hobby Update: Week 8. Part 1 This is the first part of a double weekly update, as I couldn't fit all the pictures into one post! I've been wanting to improve the image quality of the photos I take of my miniatures, and after doing some research online I decided to try out the Foldio 2 light box made by Orangemonkie. I ordered it on Friday last week and it arrived today, very impressive! The kit itself is excellent, it uses magnets to hold itself together and can be folded down to the size of a thin briefcase which makes it so easy to store. It also has a built in lighting rig composed of two multi LED strips which have a dimmer to regulate the light intensity. In the kit, you also get four different coloured high grade felt backdrops (black, white, grey and green) which can be held in place by a magnet strip. It's such an simple setup and so easy to use, I was taking pictures of my miniatures in no time, and the quality of image is excellent, even considering I just photograph my miniatures using my smartphone. All in all, I am super impressed with the Foldio 2, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a light box setup. There are definitely cheaper examples out there on the internet, this cost me around £70 including postage, but I do think it's worth the money in my own humble opinion. Now to part two where I get to take some nice shiny pictures with the Foldio! Happy Hobbying! David
