​I see a lot of writers deleting scenes they don't like, and it hurts my soul!

​One of the best habits I’ve picked up is keeping a dedicated folder for everything that didn't make the cut. Bad scenes, boring chapters, even entire abandoned novels, I don't delete any of it.

​When I'm stuck on a current project or feeling uninspired, I raid that folder.

If you're a writer fighting for your life in the tags trying to get people to care about your OCs, I see you.

You just put your playlist on shuffle and suddenly a single chord progression or one random lyric cracks open a corner of the lore you didn't even know existed.

Because suddenly I do not know what words are 🫠

I love seeing you write your strange, difficult, or wonderful stories that you find time for in the margins of your lives.

At 2am. Between jobs. Through whatever life is currently throwing at you.

That's not small. It's beautiful, and I don't think you hear that enough.
