#26: Cuddling in comfortable silence before murmuring “I love you
Blitz loved nights like this, loved curling up against Striker as the two stare at the sky, the stars shined brighter out here in the Wrath Ring than they did in the Pride ring.
Hell, the Wrath Ring was the only place that Blitz could think of that a beautiful view like the one he was looking at could be seen, a unique beauty, he stare at the heavens which usually were filled with darkness with only the stars to shine upon on it was now the perfect stage for the bright hues to dance across it,
Blitz never thought an image like the one before him would bring him peace yet here he was enjoying what nature had to offer him, finding peace within a river of rainbow lights that danced across the sky.
The best part was enjoying this view with Striker, of course his mate was the one who brought him here and he would be forever be grateful to be here, Striker always went above and beyond for their dates and this was no exception.
Striker always found ways to spoil him, never in his life did he think that he would find someone who would treat him like this.
In his previous relationships he was always the one giving, always the one going above and beyond for the ones he loved, so imagine his surprise when Striker was the one to always find ways to treat him.
Weather it was a home made meal, singing to him, or hell even indulging him with Blitz’s hobbies Striker always found a way to put a smile on Blitz face.
Staring at the aurora lights showed that Striker always found ways to be romantic surprisingly Blitz began to fall in love with moments like this, especially if it helped him relax from stressful days.
Blitz smiled, knowing that Striker probably sensed how stress Blitz was and decided to take him some place with a calming atmosphere showed how much his cowboy paid attention to him.
Hearing Striker’s heart beat made him feel whole, like his heart found its home within Striker, that the sound of his own beating heart started to sound similar to Striker’s name, is this...is this love...Blitz has had relationships but none have made him feel like what Striker was making him feel.
Looking up he saw Striker giving him a warm gaze, one that was making him blush, Striker lean down and met Blitz halfway as the two shared a soft kiss before cuddling closer to each other.
“I love you,” Blitz and Striker mumbled.
Blitz eyes widen before he pulled back and looked into Striker’s own surprised gaze, neither one was sure who said it first but they couldn’t help but chuckling a little.
Striker pulled Blitz closer to his embrace before Blitz lean down and placed a kiss on his chest, right above where his heart was.
“I love you,” Blitz said one more time, wanting Striker to hear it once again.
“I love you too,” Striker said as his tail wrapped around him holding him closer to his body.
“Always have, always will,”
Blitz purred in happiness as his own tail wrapped itself around the one he loves and prayed that he and Striker would be together until the ends of days.
