Timeskip!Kenma Kozume x GN!Reader • It's a sunny Saturday, and reader wants to go out, but Ken is to busy playing with his new VR headset. What will reader do?☀️

Contains • (jump scares), tooth-rotting fluff, personal grooming, (a VR headset), reader wears a sundress outfit, praise, cuddling, reader reprimands Kenma for having his phone out during couples time, (a little bit of pda)...

Days like this, Kenma doesn't like getting out much...by I mean much, I mean never.

When you head in the living room, you see a VERY locked in Kenma, with his new VR headset he got, the very one he said he'd literally die without buying.

He is currently playing a scary game on it, CLEARLY, because the little yelp told you everything, along with him falling back into your arms, just barely.

"EEK!"

"What the heck, Kozu?"

"Sorry, Button, you okay?" , he says as he takes the VR headset off.

That nickname always got you flustered and quiet. He named you it because you were smaller than him and you're always by his side, so he call you button and has called you it on multiple occasions...like this one...basically all the time, like if he wants cuddles.

"Button, I need cuddles"

"Button, can I have a kiss?"

That is when he gets tired of that one game he finds annoying and boring, and needs something to give him a little more battery percentage.

"Whatcha doin' Button?"

He says that half of the times he gives you back hugs.

When you call him that, he gets all bent out of shape like you just broke his switch.

"Me? Button? I don't think so, you're MY Button, and it's Kozu, for you."

So, you like it when he calls you Button, and he likes it when you call him...anything else but Button.

(the name button was used way to many times already...)

"Kenma! What did I tell you about games on the weekends?"

"Weekends are for quality time for when I'm not working and busy being a CEO...I know, but I really wanted to try this, Button."

(SIDE NOTE- he also uses button to get his way since he KNOWS it turns you to mush)

"Ugh, one day, you'll thank me for making you spend less time off the video games!"

"You and I both know that will never happen..."

"Whatever", you say as you emerge from the kitchen and you put a basket of food in front of him.

When he tries to open it, you swat his hand away and tell him to go put on something presentable.

Boy, did he not like today already.

His spouse trying to drag him out the house already, but his mood kind of changes when he sees you in that one sundress he got you for your birthday a couple months back, doing your hair.

"Button, you look incredible..."

He stands there speechless..

"Thanks, Kozu!"

After you guys get ready, you and him drive...somewhere....

"Erm..Y/N...where are we going?"

"You'll see."

You two then drive up to a plain with zero shade, so that the sun could say hello to both of y'all's skin, that has a lot of flowers and soft flowers.

"Come on Kozu," you say as you drag him out the car and you both fall after running down a steep hill (yk how those cheesy ahh couples do in the movies)

"Coming Button, he says as he helps you with the picnic blanket"

(If y'all haven't guessed or gotten the concept, yes, its a picnic date, (THAT, "DID YOU NOT GET THE CONCEPT?" TIKTOK DANCE HAS BEEN IN MY HEAD ALL DAY)

You guys then sit down and get the food out, bless it, then you both dig in...

(of course ken is going for the apple pie first and would probably eat half of it, WHAT A BIGGIE)

"Kozu, you can't get full of apple pie, eat some protein!"

You then shove a drumstick (chicken) in his face and he bites down on it while making eye contact with you, and it kind of makes you blush and you look away and give it to him.

You guys eat all the food, and then look at shapes of clouds in the sky and count flowers in the prarie and run through the fields and do all that romantic crap<

"Hey, Y/N..."

"Yeah, Kozume?"

"I'm really glad you brought me out here, I think gaming inside all day would've been a little boring anyways", he says as he brushes a hair out of your face.

"Sometimes I feel like I shouldn't be so hard on your obsession with gaming...I mean, I know its a passion, but-

His lips crash into your and you kiss back, even though still a little startled.

"You don't have to explain yourself Button."

He then takes you back to both of you back to the picnic carpet and cuddle on it as the sun falls asleep and the moon awakens. (see what i did there?)

"Y/N, you know i would do anything for you, right, even if it means taking away my video games?"

"Really, you would put video games before me", you say a little taken aback.

"Don't be ridiculous, Button."

He kisses you again, but more softer this time.

(You end the night with stargazing with kenma)

Maybe leaving the house and ditching that new VR wasn't such a bad idea....maybe you, yourself, brought him back to his reality.

*In the Polar Biome*

Kieran, taking off his jacket: It's too cold here. Wear this.

Juliana: I'm wearing enough, but thanks anyway.

*In the Canyon Biome*

Kieran, giving Juliana his jacket: There are a lots of sharp corners here. Put this on!

Juliana: I'll be fine Kieran. Don't worry.

*In the Savanna Biome*

Kieran, wrapping his jacket around her waist: The grass here is too long and can irritate your legs. Keep this around your waist.

Juliana: You don't have to do that Kieran...

*In the Coastal Biome*

Juliana, in her Ribombee themed swim dress: This is really nice-

Kieran, putting his jacket over her shoulders: We're too close to the Polar Biome.

Juliana: Kieran, I'll be okay!
