This drawing is an illustration for my fanfic: "Sick of it." The work focuses on the themes of self-harm and self-love, opening up to other people, asking for help and accepting it.
Mei has to understand and accept that the only way for her to help Kiana is to help herself first. She has to learn how to shift focus from other people to herself and her mentor and friend Elysia guides her through that process.
