Mei had found herself feverish and bedridden. Thankfully, the people around her were ready to help. All she had to do was to reach out, but, after commiting that grave sin, did she even deserve to be saved?
This drawing is an illustration for my fanfic: "Sick of it." The work focuses on the themes of self-harm and self-love, opening up to other people, asking for help and accepting it.
Mei has to understand and accept that the only way for her to help Kiana is to help herself first. She has to learn how to shift focus from other people to herself and her mentor and friend Elysia guides her through that process.

This drawing is an illustration for my fanfic: "Of Pain and Love." The work focuses on the themes of trauma processing, learning to let go and respecting boundaries. It takes place three months after the fight between Kiana and Mei in Nagazora.

This was my first time drawing such a complex background and the whole process took multiple days. But I learnt a lot! Pretty satisfied with the end result. References save lives!
I may be slow but I just realized that one of the older Mei battlesuit's ultimate, when she says ,,Raiden Charm!", is meant to match Kiana saying ,,Neko Charm!"
