It’s actually insane to me that a child can be put through years of indoctrination and religious trauma simply because their parents have full authority over their education and lives. Parents have the power to strip their child’s autonomy from them and impose their beliefs onto them. No child’s daily life should be governed by the whims and beliefs of their parents.
