Fun fact: I have had this fully in my mind for nearLY A WHOLE DAMN YEAR and just haven't had the right circumstances to FINALLY FINISH THIS DAMN CHAPTER. ....sooooo it's lowkey like, actually 2.5ish chapter's worth in terms of length. 💀 But!! I am unsure which fic you're referring to but either way I think it's a funny thought exercise so I am now going to do every single fic iteration of his reactions: S&S D Kieran (angsty mode): [Insert a whole internal monologue of a crash out that's completely centered around thinking she's trying to taunt him, followed by him attempting to build his own in retaliation before realizing she just adores hers] S&S D Kieran (fluffy version): mentally comparing her and her team to the beauty of the Ribombee that can withstand the power of Ultra Necrozma's light MTS Kieran: tries to utilize it as an argument to Juliana and anyone who so much as breathes a minor doubt about her that she is utterly amazing TDIOH Kieran (angsty mode): immediate flight risk, needs to be watched TDIOH Kieran (fluffy version): cries because he finds it beautiful TLHCC Kieran: attempts to see if he can deduce this as evidence of whether Juliana will confess to someone else

i curse thee dipplinduo! you got me to draw the cuties because of bywfilwm but fr tho i went through my midterms and found that fic on a saturday afternoon and read it till 4 am sunday the day before my written exam it was that good! my midterm is over now and i couldnt help sketching them a little bit. my hands are a tad rusty and i really want to draw more drayton and his stupid toothpaste hair because damn it i need to illustrate his mental state each time he sees carmine! like a little nerdy shoulder angel drayton that is wearing glasses and is hopelessly smitten and constantly wants to worship the ground he walks on. on his other side the lax and flirty shoulder devil drayton that is also hopelessly in love but gives cconstant commentary on how hot she is and how he wants to spoil her rotten. ITS YOUR FAULT NOW AND I NEED TO BE FED!
