The Éphéméride des Chimères (@chimeride) is a bestiary of chimeras, creatures made from animals that currently exist in our world. Started in 2018, it has > 1000 entries switching between Known Ones (tributes and interpretation of creatures that already exist) and the Unknown (original creations with contributions through suggestions). The simple format allows me to explore infinite designs, to create series inside the serie, and to cover various topics like mythology, mermaids, dragons, cryptids, goblins, paleontology, occultism or giraffes, for example.

@dudukbazaar is a transdimensional shop. Opened in 2024, new items are dropped on Sundays. Some items are related, with places mentionned like Eawy Forest or the Organian Reef. Unknown chimeras have been mentionned or sold here as items.

And here are my medecine projects. They are separated from fantasy, and are written in French (my native language) to be more accurate :

@celluloyd is a collection of ~500 figures and drawings I did between 2015 and 2017 for university. They all have been used in class for embryology, cell biology, histology, and neuroanatomy, and are posted here for free with lots of explanatory text

@celluloscope is a human body atlas with a focus on pathology, made with watercolor and started in 2022. As I am getting further in my course it has better accuracy than celluloyd, but I don't always have the energy to work on it on my free time

Maybe this is the occasion to clarify how i organise my posts on internet ! I draw with various themes and styles without really thinking about it, and I don't want to lose this diversity on my main blog while having a distinct visual identity for some projects. That's because i consider those projects as individual entities : the Éphéméride is a bestiary (@chimeride), Duduk Bazaar is a transdimentional shop (@dudukbazaar), @celluloscope is a human body atlas, and all of this would have not really make sense if it was all merged in one place ! I use this main blog to summarize what's happening on the other blogs, while posting other things that doesn't fit anywhere else.

That being said I thought for a long time that my projects are totaly unrelated, and i recently realised that my subjects, style and way of approaching art are "encyclopedic" if that makes sense ? So the idea is that the main blog is some kind of a grimoire where i store all the observations i have about realities and beyonds, merging the concepts of fantasy and science together here

Yeah, but it was nearly 10 years ago, with a very different art style ! Actually i've been thinking about including them in the Éphéméride from the beginning.

Charybdis can be fun to design but i have to put some thought on it to find something clever. Scylla has many canon designs, the one with the dog heads could be great for the Éphéméride but also very tricky to draw with the small canvas of the serie. It's the kind of monster i would like to have several takes on !

At some point i tried to include every past monsters i've designed into the Éphéméride, so my old version of Scylla has been done (n°245). The idea was that Scylla is a giant polyp, and their offsrpings nourrish Charybdis. I also tried to redesign Scylla, with more focus on the anatomy of the organs : their organisation shows how they derived from human anatomy with many duplications and deformations (the toxic tentacles with "feet" are actually extra long salivary glands lol)

(and the detailed sketch for the head is based on gorgoneions, because gorgonian corals -> polyp was something logical for me aha)
