Cuffs replaced after uuuuh idk how much, at least a year. Still I choose them too short so maybe I will replace them in future, but for now it's okay.
I did not changed the thread for visibility reasons, totally not because changing thread is pain in my ass.
Does anyone know how to fix the edge of a jacket fraying like this? My best idea is sewing a patch of fabric over the edge but that'll triple the thickness on this side
knowing how to sew is actually so useful tho (especially as an autistic person who struggles with new clothes and also prefers more worn clothes) because i just went to get ready for bed and my pyjamas had a hole in a... embarrassing? place. so, what do i do? grabs some thread, a needle, and scissors and fix it! (I've done this so many times, most of my clothes are probably mostly my own stitches)
This isn’t what I usually post but I’m excited about it so:
I mended this old rob zombie hoodie I have that has a bunch of rips but I refuse to get rid of it. It took about 4-5 hours? I didn’t really keep track
This isn’t my first time sewing but it’s my first time trying to mend holes in clothes so I think I did pretty good!

Learning how to darn socks! Wow this takes a long time! But I get to save my favorite socks!
Another repair.
For now, every hole is darned. I'm going to reinforce the thinned part of the sole.

Back side (no difference between good sew and problem)
i have a needle and thread.
i have common sense. (I hope)
and very limited sewing experience on toys, which is more like scars...
