#altering clothes

AFSAJAKDJAKDJ I FINALLY FINISHED THEM, BEHOLD! MY STRAWBERRY BAGGY JEANS

These things took me like a month or two (i did have a lot of other stuff in between i had to do tho ^^')

Cant wait to style an outfit with these! Hehehehe am currently working on a strawberry themed outfit (woth these as the centre piece ofc >:3)

For now, here is how I altered the shirts I bought for the costume to fit me better:

Since it was a 1920's larp, I had to get the modern collars off, anyway. I then used that fabric to put gussets under the armpits, where the shirts were the most tight around the bust and hips. It was a good idea, and held up pretty well.

On a different note, I also realised that I could mend stuff with the machine instead of only by hand. I finally finished the mend on the crotch of my second pair of trousers. It's flimsy, stretchy material, so I don't know how long it'll hold, but I definitely see it as an experiment.
