First Three Lines

I was tagged by @leavesdancing to post the first three lines of my WIP. The problem is, today’s WIP was “bathe the dog,” which made Bucky Very, Very SadTM, so have some pictures of a Very Very SadTM Bucky and three lines from yesterday’s WIP, working title Burnt Popcorn.

Q spat out toothpaste, rinsed his mouth, and said, “Red Queen, main telly to on.”

Since the command wasn’t security-related, he wasn’t expecting a response, so he was startled when the house’s operating system spoke up from the speaker mounted in the bathroom ceiling: “Main gate perimeter breach. One subject with package, no visible threat.”

@steampunk-city me ha retado a escribir las primeras tres frases de mi proyecto actual. Hijos de Herian está todavía en fase de planificación (que ya está llegando a su fin) pero mentiría si dijera que no he pensado ya cómo empezar.

Aquí van las primeras tres frases de Hijos de Herian:

Aunque lo hubiera intentado, Dorian no habría encontrado peor noche para dar un golpe. La luna apenas estaba empezando a menguar, había demasiada luz y los guardias estaban en pie de guerra. Pero era la noche de Kanais, por lo que era ahora o nunca.

Here are the first three lines from a chapter of Council of Thieves called Chapter 35: Plan Drunk, Heist Hungover.

Mathal crawled out from chair city into bright, eye-stabbing light. She massaged her throbbing head with an incoherent grumble and continued to crawl on all fours up the curling staircase. Crosael and Rizzardo had fallen asleep over a chalk smear, Rizzardo spooning her brother.

I decided to go with something that I randomly wrote out this morning, that has decided to become it’s own involved fic and I’m still working out some details but here is the start of it all

Elliot Randolph wasn’t the only Asgardian that choose to live on Earth. Many, in fact, found Earth to be quite the interesting little planet. Some enjoyed it for its size and circularity that contrasts Asgard's flat diskness.

Armored Soul:

Thanks to his armored helm, Isidor von Brandt smelled his own breath when he exhaled. He dearly wished he couldn’t. Apples and jerky of questionable origin tasted even worse the second time around.

Resonant Frequency:

Lightning flared, just long enough for the Gestori to see the footprints their subject had left behind. He was headed southwest, away from Caldera Lake. Through rough gorse and tangled bushes, crushing thorns and berries alike in his wake.

The wonderful @cofffeeshopp and @alittle-writer both tagged me in this. I'm sorry to report that my WIP doesn't have anything I could really post in this tag yet, but I did do a recent writing practice that I think will do...sort of?

~It glimmered against her skin. The gold chain hung from her neck like fine silken thread pulled taught by the weight of the watch grazing her collarbone. She thumbed over the sunflower engraved on the front, tilted it in the lamp light until it twinkled like a jewel.~

I've already posted a bit of AMH, sooo...here's the first three of you know what.

Sutton was lead away, even if she didn't fully realize it. She knew her legs were moving, because she could feel the pressure and the sharp pains, but the world was hazy. She couldn't focus on any one thing.

“Alexander walked silently through the forest with his bow raised and ready to pierce the heart of whatever ran in front of him.  His breathing was steady and slow while his heart was rushing with adrenaline.  The forest, vast and cramped with trees, was silent except the light sound of rain and the blood rushing through his ears.”
