We can infer that First Milk and Shadow Milk were close even if we haven't seen a real, in game interaction between them yet.

I mean, first of all, just look at this picture of them.

The way they're reaching out to each other, the little smiles on their faces, the gentle gestures, and relaxed body language... The fact that the creators decided to make the first released official art of them this shows a lot.

Shadow Milk also has a large tarot card poster in his spire depicting a "magician" that vaguely resembles First Milk, and in Beast Raid, this tarot card even heals (keep in mind that First Milk is a healer).

But I think the biggest thing to suggest a close relationship between them is that out of all the beasts, he seems to be the one who cared the most about the witches and felt the most betrayed about being "abandoned" and trapped in the tree. Silent Salt even says in One of Absolute Darkness "You are oddly knowledgeable about the witches." In Korean, the word he used for "knowledgeable" seems to translate closer to "familiar"... Keep in mind that this came after a rant about getting revenge on the witches and seeing their faces when the beasts rise up again. I think that Silent Salt sensed that this whole thing was very personal.

Smilk gets rather upset when Silent Salt says the witches don't care about them at all (which makes me wonder what Salt had going on with his own witch...) I've said this before but it seems as if Shadow Milk would rather by hated by the witches than not acknowledged by them all together. He's desperate for any sort of attention from her. I'd say it's safe to say that what First Milk and Shadow Milk had was probably deeper than what the other beasts had with their creators.
