Finger snapping for idiots
Okay peeps --It just struck me that every time I see people snapping their fingers on film, tv or in a gif they're using their thumb and index finger. I was taught to do it with thumb and middle finger. I've tried to do it the index finger way and have failed miserably.
I feel left out of a great cosmic finger snap loop. Was everyone else taught the index finger way? Was I misled by the snappers in my life? How do you snap?
Polka dots or stripes? Primary colours (red, yellow, blue) or one specific secondary colour (purple, green, orange)? Finger snapping or clapping?

could finger snapping be considered a stim? normally if i really want to say something or if i'm really excited i'll repeatedly snap by fingers very quickly, or if there's a desk or table nearby i'll slap my hands on it repeatedly.
Yes, anything that provides sensory input can be a stim.
