🍇 - what's your opinion on the med cat code? what do you think about med cats not being allowed to have mates and kits?

Oooh I have feelings about this one. The rule is stupid! The rule is stupid! If the rule were that the medicine cat can’t have kits because they requiring the Clan’s sole medicine cat to nurse or spend time in the nursery, then fine. I guess. But even then that could allow a medicine cat to potentially start a family once a trained apprentice can cover for them. But that’s not even the rule! UGH. The rule is that they can’t have a mate or kits because they may favor their kits and mate over everyone else, and also they may be distracted by love or whatever. So dumb. Most medicine cats already have family and kin in the Clan anyway, so the favoritism argument is already null and void. I mean there’s already a rule about personal feelings not getting in the way, so the mate and it’s thing is dumb. The medicine cat code is pretty much fine except for that one thing. I could complain that medicine cats shouldn’t have to outright die to save a cat especially since having no medicine cat is a HUGE deal, but that’s very circumstantial. Also to rule that a medicine cat couldn’t become a warrior is a little weird? But it’s whatever.

🍓 - what is a change you think the code could use? is it huge or just minor?

I think the code needs some major changes. I think a lot of it is outdated for the lives the Clans are living at the lake these days. And some rules have always been dumb. Namely, get rid of the one rule where the leader’s word is code. That’s garbage. I can’t imagine how no cat realized that rule could cause some major problems. Also I’m sick of hearing that rule brought up this arc. Yeah. I have a lot more thoughts on the code but will leave it at that.

🍎 - what's a ship you like that no one thought of?

I like a few like this! I don’t know if NOBODY thought of them, but I don’t see much content for Needletail and Sparkpelt, Daisy and Nightcloud, Frostfur and Goldenflower, or Beenose and Lioneye. I’m sure some of these have been thought up which is why I listed so many, but these are my very very rare pairs.

🌸 - what's your favorite overrated cat?

They liked each other a lot as apprentices, and both had been considering becoming mates with each other. However, Twigshade is very asexual and also wants to spend time as a warrior before she potentially has kits, while Finleap started having a bit of a crisis over his infertility (as an intersex tom). He really wanted to have kits with Twigshade as soon as possible by whatever means possible so he could feel like a “real” tom (in quotes because that’s his insecurities speaking)
