Could you tell us a bit on Twigbranch's and Finleap's relationship? O:
They liked each other a lot as apprentices, and both had been considering becoming mates with each other. However, Twigshade is very asexual and also wants to spend time as a warrior before she potentially has kits, while Finleap started having a bit of a crisis over his infertility (as an intersex tom). He really wanted to have kits with Twigshade as soon as possible by whatever means possible so he could feel like a “real” tom (in quotes because that’s his insecurities speaking)
Twigshade almost cut Finleap out of her life entirely while he was pushing her to have kits, and didn’t try to stop him when he tried to leave with SkyClan (who was feeling very cramped in their territory and left to seek extra space; they also felt as if they didn’t belong with the other Clans now that ShadowClan had become independent again). However, the horrible storms at the start of that newleaf brought them back, and Finleap realized he messed up badly with Twigshade and just about begs for her forgiveness after he apologizes. He promises he won’t pester her about kits anymore, they don’t even have to have any if she doesn’t want them, and if she were to want kits, they would either adopt or possibly be sired by Molewhisker or Dewspring
