Am I crazy for thinking most of the games praised for intricate/complex systems are really simple? like bravely default and octopath traveler are often praised for their class mixing and the brave system being particularly rewarding. which are fine but in all honesty it's never very deep. I want to see more games that let you move multiple pieces of a class around like final fantasy tactics does. but it seems to be the only game that does.
I am playing Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 again (have done like plenty of 40+ hour playthroughs, but never beat it and always ended up restarting) and I am coming to a dilemma again. And that dilemma is that thereβs like no good merch or purchasable artwork for my absolute favorite class in the game. The Red Mage (specifically the Viera version). Like. Itβs hard to even google it for in game sprites. Everything is just like one piece of artwork of a Viera with a staff. Which is wrong. Because red mages specifically use rapiers.
Took me a minute to find a sprite. But. I would love like a plushie or full on artwork of this job/class.
