The only game that I've ever played that does not hold back with its critiscms of the wealthy and how they use the common man for their wars and militias, about how the church is a separate but just as dangerous entity and should never be fully trusted, about how lionizing historical figures for the sake of propaganda and how through that process, we forget who they really were and what they fought for.

The only game I've seen where a hero with noble lineage abandons not only their lineage but their very name so they can not only be free, but free those who would be shackled by their shadow as well, about how the only way for our society to have any hope is through the common man unifying together.

So the sprites in this game are inspired by the early NES/SNES art style. The columns consist of a front view and profile view. The classes are, moving from the first column down:

Knight:

Wields sword

High endurance (defense)

​A. Mage (Azure Mage):

Uses Azure magick

high arcane growth percentage

low physical defense

​Strider:

Archer

high dexterity

long range attacker

​Warrior:

Wields battleaxes

high strength

low willpower (m.def)

​Thief:

High agility

wields daggers

possibly an added Steal skill?

Officer:

gunner

longest range

low agility

​Blob:

azure magick-user

high willpower and arcane

almost non-existent endurance

​Frogknight

wields mace

high agility and dexterity

can move more spaces

​Kittian:

wields lance

really high luck stat

high agility

​Bushi:

Sword and bow

high dexterity and endurance

slower than others

​Arcanist:

Extremely high arcane and resistance

uses Amethyst magick

defense is always zero

flying unit, can traverse tiles that others cannot.
