Final Fantady 7. Cloud &Tifa

Today, only the lazy are unaware of Cloti and the abhorrent ship war in the ff7 fandom. I became acquainted with this game after watching ff7 Advent Children, and even then, I fell in love with this story. I played the original game from 1997, and I never had any questions about Cloti or Cl*rith. It was always Cloti. The remake simply made it much more evident, for which I am immensely grateful to the developers. As if ff7 AC, ff7 Crisis Core, or even ff7 Dirge of Cerberus weren't quite obvious.

Cloud had loved Tifa since childhood. She was his childhood friend, even before the tragic death of Tifa's mother, Thea, the incident with the bridge to the Nibelheim reactor, and his decision to join the Shinra Corps. Cloud was always haunted by the thought that he needed to become stronger, to become a Great Soldier. The shame of failing in his mission was so great that he hid his face from her, even though Tifa had been waiting for Cloud and constantly asking Zack about a "soldier with blond hair." He protected her in the Nibelheim reactor and engaged in an unequal battle with the greatest warrior of all time. After five long years, Cloud, exhausted and covered in his best friend's blood, reached Sector 7 and met Tifa.

They never parted again💕

Tifa has always been a top priority for Cloud. He overcame his shyness and invited her to the water tower, he told her about his innermost dream, he was most afraid of her contempt, so he hid his face under a helmet when he returned to Nibelheim. Cloud rushed at the most powerful warrior on the planet with the words: "Give me back my mother, Tifa and my home town!"

He does not hesitate to rush to her defense in the thick of the battle already in Midgar.

Tifa is always worried about Cloud.

Tifa is the only one whose opinion matters to Cloud.

Ff7 Rebirth gave us the long-awaited kiss. It was a special day in the heart of every Cloti fan😍😍😍😍😍

The 3rd part, the conclusion of the ff7 Remake project, is ahead of us. But we have a 100% canon, which is the sequel to the original game, ff7 Advent Children Complete. And I love every frame of this cinema. Thank you to the creators of this movie and to Tetsuya Nomura for creating this movie, which has revived interest in the Final Fantasy series and introduced many people around the world to this legendary game💫

It’s not true. Sometimes when folks want to see something, they’ll see it and no matter what you tell them, they’ll always see it their way. Cloud isn’t searching for anybody in Advent Children - he wants to be forgiven. Aerith is symbolic of guilt for Cloud and nothing more during Advent Children. 

Kingdom Hearts is usually the one where they say he’s trying to find Aerith, but that’s been proven false time and time again: He was looking for Sephiroth.

Also, your English is really good. Never apologize - you know more languages than most Americans if English is your second (or more) language. 

Cloud tells us what we need to know in all cases as you said. In Case of Tifa, Tifa says that he told her that he felt guilty that he couldn’t prevent Aerith from dying. In ACC, he tells Tifa he ran because there was no cure for Geostigma and he couldn’t care for anyone. Tifa whips him into shape and tells him to stop running and go after the kids. He tells Aerith he wants forgiveness, and ultimately Cloud says “I let you die.” That’s what it comes down to.

People also seem to miss that he stays by her side after he wakes up in the kids’ room next to her. If he wanted to leave HER, he could have done it then. 

The original Advent Children came out before Crisis Core. Crisis Core is really where Zack’s character is expanded on and where Zack and Aerith’s relationship is shown. I think if Crisis Core would have come out prior to Advent Children, you wouldn’t have nearly as many people misunderstanding the story.
