"No place for Lady".

A variation on the events of DMC5. I'm describing my own take on one of the few fan theories that I actually like.

➡️ that idolized demon. When the son of "her" God appeared, it could have been a combination of admiration & reverence, in addition to his physical beauty and charm. I refuse to accept the fan theories about Vergil's alleged violence🙄 He did not come to Fortuna for girl r*pe🥴⬇️

➡️he is looking for traces of his father, he clearly disappeared into libraries, perhaps Lir often visited there too. Maybe she even helped me find valuable books. And now- glance, a spark, a mad passion. I think Vergil warned her that he wouldn't stay on Fortuna to marry her,but maybe he promised to come back for her later-after a single night of love-he left and never came back-we know what happened, but Lear didn't know. The mother was taken away from her child and was exiled/killed. I want I want to believe that Nero's mother is still alive⬇️

I also like the idea that their love was born among books, as was the case with Dante and the Lady in the Divine Library. After all, the Divine Comedy is the foundation of everything here😉

Mary Ann was thrown from a great height by her father, only to fall into Dante's arms & become Lady. It was fate. Unlike her, Dante understood it immediately.

Vergil is a surgeon, Yamato is a scalpel. Sparda's eldest son is a true amputation expert. Although... in the canon, he performed surgery on his son with his bare hands😂

I love how they emphasized the painful resemblance between Lady and Vergil, which is completely in line with the canon.

Because these two are really too important for Dante.

Now, a completely canon parallel: Vergil in Arkham Mansion((in Mary Ann's house), Lady on Dante's porch (DevilMayCry, a name she will utter a year later).

Vergil literally admits that he understands the Lady's desire for strength/skills and her willingness to fight for what she considers important. In this regard, she is closer to him than his own twin brother.

I love how Vergil acts as a demon-temptress in this scene: he offers Lady a deal, but she has already chosen Dante, so she doesn't even listen to the terms. Vergil's smug expression as Lady leaves Arius/Banes for his own brother is priceless😏
