lowk Dream Sweet in Sea Major reminds me of Fenchurch and Arthur idk why
I was REALLY intrigued by this post by @oakgreenoak,
💬 3 🔁 50 ❤️ 136 · hate to break it to you but it's actually something douglas adams himself came up with
So I had to do my own research and found the original note, which is at the end of the chapter "On love" in Kevin Jon Davis' book "42: The Widely Improbable Ideas of Douglas Adams". It is... quite interesting!
Transcription below for the curious ones who want to see some OG spicy Fenthur:
Just listened to imaginal disk by magdalena bay for the first time all the way through and first of all Oh My God that was amazing and also MOST FENCHURCH CODED ALBUM EVERRRRR IT'S MAKING ME CRAZY

whatever go my shittily colorized freehand fenchurch sketch from class today
happy valentines day. i have another idea
to be honest i'm starting to find that i can get very interested in fenchurch mostly when the tragedy of her story is emphasized instead of reduced. i don't really want her to ever be happily reunited with arthur, which i think is where a lot of fenchurch fan content loses me, but i think she could stand to haunt the narrative a lot more. she was basically tormented on earth and wanted to travel the stars, but only got about as far as seeing god's message, like that was the only thing she was meant to do. did she feel fulfilled? was she happy? is this what it means to have a purpose and is this what happens when you fulfill that purpose? were all of her other interests, hobbies, and relationships meaningless? or maybe it's all just random? much to keep arthur awake at night in a way that isnt just #deadwife
