Hey, what if Ford were to take Arthur with him to Erid? I think Ryland and Arthur would get along well exchanging stories about their favorite weird alien companions, and Arthur would probably be amazed at the huge dome the Eridians built and ask if they have managed to recreate tea! And maybe Ford and Rocky are exchanging stories in Eridian about their silly but precious humans in the background. I really like thinking of crossover scenarios!😆

Ford Prefect is like a platypus to me. Or mayhaps a little like the beast folk from The Island of Doctor Moreau only like… naturally. I just feel like he should be part lizard, part cat, part fish, part bug but like squashed into a human presenting form. I really like the idea of Betelgeusians evolving from two-headed cat-insect things and Praxibetels evolving from creepy cave-dwelling lizard-fish-Gollum things and then still being biologically compatible enough to produce Ford. A fucked up one-headed Creature with impulse control issues and a really creepy smile and the constant urge to bite. And then compared to humans he looks fairly normal (maybe a little uncanny valley) and just acts sort of neurodivergent but like biologically he’s all sorts of weird. Idk. My thoughts on this change all the time, but this is the concept today.

Bc of your current airport situation i am now imagining Forthur attempting to navigate an airport. Not even a spaceport just a regular earth airport.
