Were you always natural or did you have to go through the process of "going natural"? If so how long did it take ?
I have always been natural but from years of constant straightening with the flat iron, I was left no option but to cut off my heat damage hair. I was left with a short mushroom cut and it took me a year in a half for me to completely transition. Some may not consider it a big chop but I had waist length hair and it was now up to my neck so it was a big chop to me. Lol
What products do you use in your curly hair routine?
I rotate products from month to month. I am a huge fan of hair butters and leave ins for they don't weigh my curls down. I also like oils, but it all depends on the weather and the mood of my hair.
What hair advice would you give to another curly girl ?
My best advice would be to be patient with your hair and don't compare your crown to anyone else's.
Diffuser or Air Dry ?
A little air dry followed by 15 minutes of diffusing on low heat for the extra volume.
