There was a rare event last month... Park Rangers setup 70 lanterns inside and around "Cliff Palace" at Mesa Verde National Park in Southwest Colorado. The look simulated what it might have looked like 800 - 900 years ago when it was inhabited by the Ancient Ones (the ancestors of Southwest Natives that are still here today).
