gene hackman I think is the most consistent actor of all time like if he's in a movie he will do the same things every time and this isn't a diss or a compliment it's just a statement
like he will yell and he will point at things he really loves to point i think it's funny that he said he felt "constipated" during the conversation (1974) and you will notice it's one of the only movies where he doesn't point. He felt constipated bc he was desperate to point and they stopped him
he will also most likely be wearing a turtleneck they r always putting him in a turtleneck I can name like 3 movies where he has a turtleneck on
he will also most likely get soaking wet or be submerged in water he is in a noticable amount of movies where he is submerged in water in some way it's like the Al Pacino constantly bathing and showering thing but with gene hackman it's more like they are drowning him
he will also smoke a cigar he always smokes a cigar
