Year of STRQ: Fastidious
Tai shook his head and threw Qrow over his shoulder. Drunk off his ass again. “If only you took care of yourself like you take care of Harbinger,” he sighed. The hot mess was at least meticulous with maintenance. “But I care ‘bout Harbinger,” Qrow slurred. “I’m aware,” Tai replied.
ok time to ramble about jon’s hair bc i’ve growing my hair out and i like thinking we have the same hair stuff goin on
he keeps it up pretty much all the time when he’s at work which leads to Headache Time For Jarchivist but when he takes it down, depending on how recently he’s washed it, it either stays roughly exactly where it was when it was up or immediately explodes and gets in his face. one time martin catches him as he’s leaving the office with his hair tie on his wrist as he runs his hands through his hair, tousling it and shaking his head to get it to settle normally. martin almost drops his tea.
this man has so much hair. like so much oh my god. it’s very fine and soft but it’s just so dense. there’s so much of it.
if he leaves his hair down he gets honest to god sausage curls along the bottom without trying. when he gets rained on or the air is super damp it curls up pretty tight and it looks fantastic.
bc it’s Projection Hour and i am super adhd who gets too distracted to shower sometimes so too does jon. i mean the man lives in the office for three years there’s a lot going on. he hates having greasy hair more than anything in the world it’s sensory hell. he knows he’s waited too long to wash his hair when it starts to do what it’s told. but once it gets long enough he can tie it in a knot without a hair tie when it’s not been washed in a day or two. when it’s really clean it’s too slippery to tie up like than but he’s also a major proponent of the hair stick. except he keeps fuckn losing them so he mostly uses like. pencils. he keeps knitting needles around just to put his hair up. he hasn’t knit since uni.
when he was a kid he would see his grandmother put her hair up in super cool braids and he Really wanted to try it too but she wouldn’t let him practice with her hair and his was too short so when his hair finally got long enough to try it he was SO excited when he managed to french braid his own hair.

'One should choose one's physician with as much care as one chooses one's tailor.' He paused a moment. 'Perhaps even more carefully.'
