Michelle’s father builds tiled fireplaces. Consequently, Michelle dealt with the topic of warmth in her graduation project. She used shapes from different types of tiled stoves to create contemporary pieces of garments. The photo shooting took place in her grandmother’s living room; the traditional cosy space juxtaposes with the modern clothes.

Rate this wearable from 1/10? Designers @ryanmarioyasin & @petit.pli created a type of flexible and stretchable clothes that is one size fits all. Petit Pli aims to reduce waste in fashion at point of production, transport and use by creating clothes that grow. WHAT: Clothes that grow, fitting children aged 9 months to 4 years. HOW: Petit Pli suits grow through 7 discrete sizes as they are embedded with a patent-pending technology which allows by-directional growth. WHY: Fashion is our second largest polluter. Extending the life and use phase of clothes can significantly reduce emissions and waste.
