Celina worked for her graduation project together with her grandfather suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. In the course of his illness, she observed an increased fixation on certain combinations of materials (such as servings, fabrics, papers, etc.) as well as color and shape constellations. With Celina’s help, her grandfather combined together with other Alzheimer-patients different materials and colors. By photographing the results and transferring their essence to a shape catalogue, Celina captured the individual perception, emotional world and the "new reality" of these dementia patients.

Christoph reconstructed the gender performance, which he perceived in the novel “The Handmaid’s Tale” by Margret Atwood: He marked all elements describing the body and got rid of everything else, to capture the essence of the body perception. The reader experiences now solely body perceptions with which he inevitably identifies. In addition to the typographic work, Christoph scanned body parts which cannot be identified with a gender. Both, text and images, create discomfort. 

Michelle’s father builds tiled fireplaces. Consequently, Michelle dealt with the topic of warmth in her graduation project. She used shapes from different types of tiled stoves to create contemporary pieces of garments. The photo shooting took place in her grandmother’s living room; the traditional cosy space juxtaposes with the modern clothes.
