Mitsuru was trying to speak as he pushed his body up, sitting in front of him with his hair a complete disaster and his eyes reflecting the most basic of needs for any animal. He couldn't help but feel a sting in his own pants at the sight, he could smell the arousal on his cute little werewolf and it made his mouth water.

As we all know, Merlin saw a vision of Arthur being fatally wounded by Mordred in a battle. This stays true to his fate in the Arthurian legend. With everything that's been hinted at in Series 5 with Mordred, and all the spoilers, it's a sure bet that this is what will happen in the finale.

But as we all know, the series has a way of putting its own spin on the legend.

What if all that Merlin foresaw happening (the battle, Mordred's betrayal, Arthur's death) comes to pass. But it actually takes place in the very first 15 mins of episode 5x13. Then the rest of the episode becomes all about Merlin taking Arthur to Avalon himself to save him.

Word of this reaches Morgana, and she follows them with the assistance of Aithusa. And that's when she and Merlin have their final showdown. This could either result in Morgana's redemption or her death. I'm honestly not that fussed.

With the aid of Avalon's ancient powers and Merlin's magic, Arthur is revived. Merlin reveals his magic to Arthur finally, and at last Arthur understands, and promises to accept magic. 

They both return to Camelot. And the golden age of Albion begins. Arthur becomes the greatest King Camelot has ever known. And Merlin grows into the great and wise sorcerer.
