Dawnfeather's Kin - Warriors Family Tree

Part two of the redraw! As you can see this time I'm bringing new faces and new connections.

One of the things that started annoying me about the OG tree is the fact how many cats just show up for a book and then dissapear without a word. I know that the "Mapleshade is the grandchild of Cloudstar and Birdflight" might be a reach but I kinda liked that idea, could also explain her ideas as to why her kits would be important etc.

A second big change is Petalkit surviving and becoming Petaldance, haven't thought much about it, I think she was just lucky, mayby she clung to a big branch and ended up somewhere further down the river. Then she decided to follow it upstream and ended up in Thunderclan's camp. And well- This child survived drowning, then showed up in Thunderclan, it *has* to be a sign, right? Thos I dont think Petaldance would have any strong connection to anyone in the clan, mayby Nettlepaw being the exception.

Canon Poppydawn is a dark red molly but I couldn't make her orange for multiple reasons; 1. Both of her new parents are dilute, meaning she can only be dilute 2. I made her a tortie because of her kits, specifically Thistleclaw the Bastard Man. He's gray, if Poppy was a cream cat, he would have had to be red too.

As you can see, Thistle, Rose and Sweet are fatherless. Yeah, Windflight lost his father priviliges, we don't need toms having multiple partners, it makes the tree into a bush! Having unknown father is actually cool and ties more into the early "Queens don't have to say who the father is" thing.

Rosetail's tail is red only becaue I liked it more.

People of Thunderclan part 2

So, uh, my family tree only includes the relationships that have been confirmed by the books themselves, not just the warriors website, so Windflight being the Dappletail-Tawnyspots-Thrushpelt litter's father isn't here, sorry. But i have made a post about them here. (They are compatible.)

Rosetail herself ("gray tabby with reddish tail") is a blue tortie tabby. I imagine her tail like this:

She has two siblings, Thistleclaw (dark gray = blue tabby with white) and Sweetpaw, who is "white with tortoiseshell patches". I made her a tortie point with white.

Their parents are Windflight ("gray tabby") and Poppydawn ("dark red"). Unfortunately red Poppydawn and gray Thistleclaw together doesn't work, either she's tortie or he's red/cream. I chose the former, because poppies are very red-black aesthetic.

I had to give some white spotting to one of them as well, Windflight gets the honor. He'll be a blue tabby, because he has so many dilute kits.

Windflight and Poppydawn. Hm, they should be longhairs probably, both are noted to have bushy/thick-furred tails. And then all their kits would be longhairs too.

Then we have Poppydawn's brothers, Heronwing and Rabbitleap, respectively dark and light brown tabby; that'll be a blotched and a mackerel for me.

Their mother, Fallowsong ("light brown") is also a black mackerel tabby. (Or if their unknown father gets revealed and turns out he's black-based, she can black tortie tabby.) Lastly, Fallowsong's sister Sweetbriar: she's described as a brown tabby with white paws, but she has a red son (Pinestar), so she's a tortie for me.
