There have been some (unconfirmed) rumours floating around that Fallout season 3 is shooting at a baseball stadium in LA. In one of the s2 end credits, we see a huge Legion camp at a baseball stadium, too. If these rumours are true, then I think it's very possible that the Legion/NCR war will be drawn out and even expand outside of New Vegas. I also think it's possible that someone like Max will be captured and taken to their camp at some point.
