Working on trying to finalise how I’ll put my wee part of the exhibition together….
I printed out all 230 of my photographs on cheap printer paper just to see how much room it would take up if I were to wallpaper the whole darkroom /camera obscura.
I definitely think I want to build the images around the aperture of the camera obscura itself rather than a straight wallpapering of the box. What do you think?

Some first attempts at screen printing… I’m not using any registration, so just eyeballing the second layers… I’m not so sure I like the ones with the text, but it was just a test, so that’s okay.
PS: The lines over my face in the prints of me are intentional. The halftone screen was made from a multiple exposure photograph that I took of myself in March.

I wanted to get a bit more footage from inside my camera obscura, but I was holding up the queue whenever I’d try. I suppose that’s a good thing though, eh? ❤️
Watching the expressions on the faces of the people as they left my camera obscura during last night’s exhibition opening made me super happy. Part Two…
TFW you're in crunch mode and discover that your screen printing screen wasn't properly cleaned by the people who are supposed to clean the screens, so the ghost of someone else's work is showing up on your photographs. I considered using the super toxic screen cleaner, "Ghost Buster," but it's covering throughout the entire image and Ghost Buster doesn't exactly allow for precision application. Maybe I can sort something painterly out with this ugly geometric design that's all over my image, but for the moment, I'll just have to set it aside. So yeah... Crud.
