PNW Trip Part 2: Cannon Beach, Oregon 7/16/2025
Laura and I planned to stop in Cannon Beach, Oregon on our way to Crater Lake National Park. We wanted to go there for sunset, and boy did it not disappoint. It was unbelievably gorgeous. These pictures do not do it justice. We got there around 7:30 and sunset was at 9:00, so we sat on the beach and soaked it in.
While visiting Laura, I had some free time to explore. I walked around and went to local coffee shops, gift shops, and I dropped into some workout classes: hot yoga and F45. Both classes were a lot of fun. I always like checking out different fitness studios when I travel. The F45 was in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle which I had never been to before. It was so cut and there were tons of hills.
We also sun bathed multiple times on the dock near her place and went to the local park/lake to swim. It had such beautiful views of Mt. Rainier. This was my third time visiting Seattle, and each time I am more blown away than the last with how much there is to do and see. We also grabbed drinks at Gasworks Brewery. We both got the watermelon sour beer and it was delicious and refreshing. Never had anything like it before.
Perfect weather and perfect company.
