hi hi hiiiii im so very sorry i've left this to fester in my inbox for like... nearly a month... but currently I'm doing well thank you!!

Rather sleep deprived (6.5 hours. not too bad. and my own fault) but I've just finished updating my dive log records for the first time in... 3 years... which is nice!!

I do have to leave for work soon which sucks but oh well at least I'll get fancy coffees there haha!

I've been putting off this letter simply so I can write it without the impeding doom of exams hanging over my head... and that time has finally come!! My last maths paper finished at 11:30 this morning and I am free!!

I know what you mean bout finishing them super quickly, my paper was 2 hours, I was done in 1 (although I did thouroghly check it cover to cover) Although I do not go to school, I don't mind taking exams, I almost like the physicality and finality of it all if that makes sense?

I have finished both the book AND the film of PHM now! The soundtrack is absolutely stunning, and rocky is so so so adorable :3

The collection of metal things has grown!! Although none are currently attached to the blazer I have...

2 old fashioned safety pins (really big and chunky) 1 watch (missing the strap) 2 broken bracelets (aka a bunch of beads and charms) a collection of cogs from an old guitar a mini belt buckle a star shaped hair clip but flattened

Oooh your bag sounds really cool!! I am currently hankering after a vintage leather sachelI saw a faux one in a charity shop but eventually decided against it because 1) it was missing a buckle and strap and it'd be hard to get one to match the remaining one, plus i wasn't sure how i'd attatch it... and 2) i don't particually like buying faux fur/leather cos it doesn't biodegrade and i don't personally see the point of it (although i'd never buy it real and new of course, unless it was an ethically sourced byproduct (eg. leather from livestock bred for meat) or if it was a byproduct from culling an invasive species (culling is actually an important process and its good to use up what you cull so there's minimal waste)

Sadly it's not the sort of thing I can make, I'm gonna just keep looking, i have a... very long list of things to look for (but limited money) My most recent aquisitions are a stunning purple floral tie, a Pink Floyd CD (wish you were here) and a Beatles CD (sgt pepper's lonely hearts club band)

Oooh I love your colour question! It's tricky because I need to think of my current favourite colour as it fluctuates quite often.

Right now it's a deep wine red, with lashings of a bright sunrise. It's a creeping blush that can't be shifted by wind nor rain nor beating sunshine, it's the sort of colour that grows heavier the more you look at it, it's the colour that spreads under your eyelids when you've stared at a light for too long, yet if you glimpse it out the corner of your eye it becomes a vivid explosion of crimson.
