You don't think McCartney wanted to control another staged BeatleDeath after the last one went wrong, and the Immortality Granting Beetle that held his life and memories crawled out of Lennon's mouth was smushed? Instead of going to the planned Beatle Lookalike, who's memory was wiped as to be a blank slate?

The reason Harrison "died" is because people would be suspicious otherwise. He was stabbed...and survived, due to the fact that when one has two Mini Imortality Beetles, (NOT the same as the main one that holds your life and can be transferred to another holder.) in their scrotum, they will work as a sort of Totem of Undying, and die once they save your life?

McCartney learned this from the past "Paul Is Dead", from when his Main Immortality Beetle was transferred to a lookalike. He tried to play into it to make it seem like a joke. Like it wasn't intentional. Like he wasn't evil.

When the mishap with stabs happened to Harrison, well, the two decided to show the public that George was not immortal.

And so, their last goodbyes were goodbyes. George's Immortality Beetle with his memories was being sent to a random memory wiped guy in Tibet- not a lookalike- so that Paul wouldn't bring any attention to him.

Paul McCartney said Harrison's "death" was different than Lennon's because he had more time to process it.

This is true.

Lennon died due to McCartney's selfishness in hoarding the Beetles for only the Beatles to use.

But Harrison "died" out of protection.

Whether that protection was to protect Paul or George, you can decide.
