I’ve told you most of what happens already. But I can tell you a little about the event leading up to it.
So Ben’s on the phone to the whatever it is that covers crisis’s in Auradon. When chadeficent appears behind him. They talk. Ben does his empathy thing about how he prefers the old chad. And is called out. Hard. Chad knows it’s a lie. Nobody liked him. And he doesn’t want to get better. He uses magic to choke Ben. And throw him into the opposite wall. Then Adam steps in. And holds Ben by the neck as Ben’s humanity is ripped away from him.
