This is a typical view from beachline of Harnai port, Dapoli during fishing season. These trollers or fishing boats may stay out in the sea for 3-5 days or even up to 8 days at a time. Every evening hundreds of fishing boats come back after fishing and gather to auction their catch at one of the biggest seafood auction market of Maharashtra, business worth millions of rupees carried out between 4 to 7 PM. As a result, Maharashtra accounts for over 30% of marine fish production of India.
