Setting up the showroom for the personal order evening event.
Today’s task was to get all interns to help to get the stuff for the Press and Personal Order Event into the van: The whole collection, boxes, and poles all over again.
As soon as we finished loading the van, we went together to the ICA venue and immediately started unpacking the van again. After a quick lunch, we built everything up, but this time we had a different installation: we presented the homeware collection in one room and therefore built a whole bed and background.
We finished at 8PM and had a quick double-check with the designers if they are satisfied with the whole installation and set-up. The next day I would only join my intern buddy and supervisor in the afternoon because it was enough for one to be there in the morning.
I knew, that after Paris I wasn’t on my supervisor's good side. She would often show me passive aggressive signs like telling everyone to ask my intern buddy if they have any questions because she knows more than me… now, I would agree on that, because she was one week earlier there than me, but you still don’t push to say that in front of your intern. She also showed favoritism when she chooses her to join her the next morning for the Press event - but to be honest, I didn’t show my supervisor and reaction, the less I show her that I don’t care, the more she will likely stop being passive aggressive in the future.
