I am taking a course atm about intercultural communication, and our final project is to talk about a culture/co-culture/subculture we are a part of. So I took the opportunity to put my hobby to use, and it was approved by my professor, so Kpop (Korean music in general not just pop) is now the subculture I am writing about. My professor recommends we interview others that are a part of our topic culture, so what better place is there to ask you guys!!

I would like to know your perspectives on kpop, how your own culture influences you in how you interpret a song or mv and what styles of kpop you like (k-rap, k-hiphop, r&b, ballad etc.)?

 Also any stereotypes you see with kpop or how others around you view people who listen to kpop?

If you have been a fan for a few years, like myself, what changes have you seen? Are they good or bad? Do you like these changes? What would you like to be different?
