Dear Gus & Magnus,

I had a DLRP board meeting today and our speaker was a teacher (and students) from eStem Middle School. It was a reminder of how great some teachers are at their jobs. I don't know how much money this woman makes, but her energy and patience and enthusiasm and the way those students looked at her assure me her paycheck falls short of what she deserves.

Mom and I really want Pulaski Heights to get a better grip on the middle school so that you can go to school there. It rocked our world when Norah and Bo ran into issues and switched to the Anthony School because in our heads you two were following in their footsteps. We love the idea of public school and want to support public education every way we can, but we are also committed to getting you two the best education you can get. Somehow we have to reconcile those two things. Luckily we have a few years to figure it out.
