What makes an alterhuman is a bundle of terminology away from being equal to the human being.

Essentially, I have seen some shit and have been a part of some shit, and my thoughts on the recent discourse redirect to what I would like to name oppressor supremacy and the efforts to defy it through anthropocentric tools.
Obviously, in a world where there is governmental power leveraged against alterhumans and shifters, there would be legitimate means to name and describe our oppression. Though, in this world where the law is a fundamental reality, shifters and alterhumans are not oppressed but rather we are marginalized and our identities are depicted as mere traits upon a human being, labels and words instead of material transitions and physical commitments. The alterhuman is then just a person who thinks themselves altered from humanity, a nonhuman is a human who believes themselves not of humanity, and the physical ones? Theyāre people who think they can physically exist as an animal. These are even things said by other alterhumans online (src). But this is not āalterhumisiaā or ānonhumisiaā. I would say that we instead suffer from forced conversion of the spiritual and physical specieal oddity, which I have dubbed eneuroanthrophy.
Eneuroanthropy is the enforcement of eurocentric, human metaphysical beliefs onto another group who are considered spiritually and physically āspecieal odditiesā, aka, not āall the wayā human. This term is meant to intersect with racism, sexism, and sanism against those who have differing identities from the norm.
This, again, is not oppression but is rather marginalization over expression. There is no government or law suppressing us and there is no other party being treated fairer in society, since we do not have immediate outlying factors of our identity apparent or well known enough to be recognized for, and as such, we just do not face external oppression at the hand of oppressors. In truth, the only real face of discrimination we face is the mention of our identity being met with backlash or judgement, never subjugation.
Letās circle back.
When I had said that there were people in the alterhuman community who had wished to hold power over me, I did not speak out of spite but truth. Here is my panel for Shifter Northeast 2025 and my discussion of my treatment in alterhuman circles is towards the beginning. In there, I touch upon how great it is to be hosting again after last yearās panels, and how nice it was to see new faces of the pshifter community join in on this event. Itās surreal, hearing me talk about it, and though I have made peace with Page, I have yet to have the others pay their dues. It is not easy to confront your sapien fragility in spaces made exclusively for you to forget it at the door, but at times, you simply must. The fragile ego that comes with human sapience and awareness of otherās opinion of you is something that I have yet to talk about in these circles, because usually we can call these people* asshats and move on, but at some point we have to talk about it. At some point, these people are not acting on behalf of what they have learned from living in human society but rather they are acting on deeply internalized eneuroanthropy that they harbor towards others in their community. It might make a dog therian uncomfortable to fully socialize or understand what a dog pshifter is going through if said dog therian heralds the belief that the pshifter thinks lesser of them for being āless physicalā. It may very well make the dog feel like they need to point out the pshifter in the group and isolate them as a means of āgetting ahead of the problemā, declaring that physical alterhuman language is useless and serves to divide communities or that the shifterās history means it cannot be reclaimed (src).
Analyzing why the hypothetical dog therian would feel as though they are lesser is the key problem to recognizing sapien fragility in living beings, and why therian elitism occurs to this day in these spaces.
I believe that chalking my experience those years ago as a misunderstanding between staff and user is a far stretch. I was there, and I was a kid who was having a mental break down as I watched my venting space get turned into a launch of deliberate discourse posts for three whole days. On and off Discord, mind you. My personal vent against someone who had rudely displayed a stand-offish attitude over my statement regarding how factualkin had a place under the otherkin umbrella, and that the words of today have expanded. That was not good enough to certain gray muzzles and I was dragged by multiple staff members, compared to an assassin, and then told that I lacked āobject permanenceā for the label of otherkin. I was laughed at by alterhumans, told to leave the server, and had my entire online group uplifted from underneath me after I had just got done having kind experiences with these same people in Othercon. From Page included, this was an awful display of subverting oppressor supremacy. The idea that since factualkin as a term was made by skeptics and trolls, reclaiming it as equal in position to otherkinity means that its history as a troll identity would be forgotten, even more forgiven, rather than recognized. They all attempted to discourse on the subject for days, which ultimately resulted in me leaving and never returning to alterhuman spaces afterwards, allowing me to find footing in pshifter spaces. When trying to converse about it, they had wanted to claim that since it was a term used to belittle them, their doors would not be open/their doors would be shut at certain hours, that the community would have to be aligned with certain rules and regulations in order to communicate as otherkin ā unless they seek to embarrass real otherkin.
The attitude that many of them held was that since they are no longer human, since they are no longer of the species that is the oppressor of animals, since humanity and animality are unequal, then the rise to power would be the alterhumans and the otherkin who subvert the basis of oppressor supremacy. No longer will the oppressors be at the top, reverse this and allow for otherkin to take the mantle. To many, not only would the alterhuman be better at performing humanity but they would work harder at restoring the environment (src). Until then, the otherkin is the subject of unique oppression based within the confines of sanism and racism, and as the oppressed class, no longer can they hold powers that subsequently cause harm to another, as their other axisā of oppression forbid it. Said dog therian cannot be racist for identifying as a K9 because K9ās were abused, used unjustly, and furthermore, were dehumanized just as much as the lizard therian of color who rudely complained that it was glamorizing the abuse of a racial class to choose, specifically, the word āK9ā as label. How absurd! How rude!
This is not just causal racism or direct hatred against people of color in America, it is the legitimate belief of oppressor subversion that has occurred in multiple different eurocentric alterhuman spaces, and is a similar situation to white trans people using their transness as a way to not be labeled racist, only that POC are called nonhuman a lot more than they are called transgender. In some of these spaces, the usage of anthropocentric tools such as hierarchies, pecking orders, and ideologies, are not just results of the online space (moderation, staff) but the literal culture of how these groups function. In spiritual therian spaces, you are more likely to find someone who believes that they have a past life of an animal as opposed to someone who has very technical, biological beliefs. The concept of animalistic spirituality is taken more seriously if it is not paired with a certain degree of claiming physicality (src, src). These hierarchies are developed as a way of language, such as when categorizing umbrella terms in English speaking communities, and pecking orders can often come in the form of packs or flocks where the leader needs some form of order in the chaos that is human-born nonhumanity.
While some anthropocentric tools are helpful in calming the crowd, some are paired with attitudes of a ābetter leadershipā or the nonhumans may feel as though they are exempt from human faults, that the beast is more intelligent now that it has learned from human minds and has chosen to be altered in species. This is the anthropomorphic tool usage I am talking about. To position yourself as an oppressed minority that is being legally subjugated, to reverse the roles by using the same tools humans would do against literal animality, then to ignore the intersections in your life that require you to accept the reality that you, as an alterhuman of any kind, are not less privileged for being alterhuman.
This is why eneuroanthropy is defined in such a way, to push in the fact that the outward expression or pride in being alterhuman is what is being deemed as strange and off-putting, not the mere existence. I can walk outside as a pshifter and I will not be discriminated against as a pshifter, but once I begin to express that I am physically able to shift, that I am, on the outside, not human, that is when people decide that it is just to harass me. It is not the existence they worry about, it is the nonhuman expression that defies what is normal in society, and because we can never be āclockedā for it, we are invisible until we speak.
These anthropocentric tools are literally the things causing said drifts in the communities. The dog therian feels lesser because they have been surrounded by those who use anthropocentric tools to then rewire the hierarchies of human and animal, centering discussions of who gets to be called what (coining things like otherpaw for those who are just furries) and who gets to call their term whatever (src) over legitimate conversations about everyday expansion of what human means, which seem to have faded out as the years go by.
They have, instead of choosing to dedicate time to essays and thoughts on what humanity could mean as someone of their predicament, nurtured an environment where anthropocentric tools are being used to compare their struggles to oppressed individuals, have used their own identities as scapegoats to being called out on bad behavior, and have subtly shifted the languages of those outside of them to better fit themselves. But why all of this? Why choose to devolve yourself into identity politics, term usage discourse, and further leech off of the community built on more discourse?
My conclusion, if you want to hear it, is that there are so many of them in the alterhuman community who come to the realization that they are not human, declare their human life up to three seconds ago a farce, and slap a label on top of themselves as if it absolves their previous humanities ā as if it entirely separates them from humanity now. My comment earlier about many of us being a single term away from humanity is not being being snarky, it is me telling the truth. The hypothetical dog therian believes themselves lesser because in the culture of their community, the proximity to humanity is considered something that can scare others (src). The ability to be human or to be something that is fictionally human, is grounds for not being like the majority, and therefore, it is assumed you hold greater unjust beliefs about the world. Misanthropes in the community, not those who have anthrophobia, those who have explicit hatred for humans, will make it clear that they do not want proximity to humankind at all. They hold the same unjust beliefs as these supposed humans but they donāt see it that way because they truly believe a single label distances them from the concept of humanity.
The moment I stop using vampire to describe myself, I am known as a regular human. That dog therian is not physically, mentally, or psychologically hardwired for living a dogās life, they have to live a version of it that is as humane as possible for them to survive while in human society. Am I of the argument that alterhumans and shifters are just humans? No. Am I of the argument that we are then not humanā¦? No. Humanity is a collection of traits; physical, cultural, societal, and judicial. It is cemented in law that you have to live a human life, that you are culturally raised to see yourself as human, and that you had physical experiences with humans that you would otherwise not have as a literal, physical theriform. The recognition of that is not āalterhumisiaā or anti-alterhuman, it is looking directly at you and telling you that you are a label away from being human because human is not a species but rather a very specific social grouping of individuals that appear, function, socialize, and imagine the world through human privileges. You as an alterhuman can do all of those things, you are living a human life, but you are choosing on your own accord to recognize that you do not WISH to fulfill those roles in human society anymore. That because you experience this form of nonhumanity, you then CHOOSE to realize it in ways that defy the previous human life you were living.
I do not agree with the idea that ātherians know they are humanā because I know that what they mean is supposed to be anti-physical nonhuman and sanist, but I canāt say that I am against the framing that therians no longer want to live human lives and now express nonhumanity through a myriad of ways. Nonhumans are not the opposite to humans, they are those who deny further contribution into the human social group.
And so, when I communicate here on the topic of oppressor supremacy, anthropocentric tool usage, eneuroanthropy, and sapien fragility, I am not saying that:
Oppressor supremacy does not exist. I am saying that to label someone as the oppressor, another group has to statistically be oppressed by said group specifically.
Anthropocentric tools are all bad. Humanity has advanced, I will give it that, and its tools and technology has allowed for anyone to connect with each other. Though, in some areas for those claiming other than humanity, the usage of such tools of power to declare yourself better fitting as the authority? Not what I am rooting for.
Eneuroanthropy is exclusive to alterhumans. Eneuroanthropy is specifically experienced by those who have cultural, spiritual, or physical expressions that are deemed odd in Western human standards and as such, are ridiculed, shamed, or suppressed.
Sapien fragility is for only those who are closer in proximity to humanity. Sapien fragility is the fragile nature of all things with varying levels of intelligence and awareness of how another being might view them in real time. An elfkin having a panic attack over the way someone looked at them is not sapien fragility. Said elfkin acting as if their nonhumanity is being attacked by a comment made about their bad behavior and that they need to then reinforce their identity through claiming that they are better than humans is sapien fragility.
What I am saying is that all of these intersect as results of a growing community based around labels and languages instead of characters and worlds. The attitude here is that a single label, the single act of calling yourself a raccoon or whatever, is absolute defiance and absolution from the āhuman sinsā that some misanthropes drool over. When I had vented in that group chat, I was doing so out of discomfort (while not naming anyone) for how I was treated. I was rudely pushed aside for talking about it and then told that I was just a ākidā who didnāt have my screws all the way in, who was vague posting, who was being a narc. When the moderators and their friends learned of it and began hounding me for their behavior, was this not a prime example of anthropocentric tool usage?
When a bird therian is deliberately told by a non-therian that they are ānot reallyā a bird, that itās just their āspirit animalā, that they should jump off a building if they can, that their wings arenāt really going to hold them up and that if they āwant to be an animal, theyāll treat you as oneā ā is this not eneuroanthropy?
When a white alterhuman is called out for using Indigenous terminology as their identity and they reiterate by saying āwell, itās just a cryptid deer thing! I canāt control my identity!ā, proceeding to double down and enforce their identity by claiming it as āinvoluntaryā and an attack on their nonhumanity ā is this not sapien fragility?
And when we make terms, regardless of our race and intersections, such as āalterhumisiaā and ānonhumisiaā, position humans as the oppressor of those poor mentally ill alterhumans, and then believe anyone will read the disclaimer that says that it is not equal to other forms of oppression ā is that not claiming humans as the sole benefiter of oppressor supremacy?
When I put it like this, hopefully you can see how these things still taint the community from the inside out, where the problem is not an oppressor class such as humans but rather the clinging to anthropocentric tools in order to formulate language capable of causing this mess. I seem to have less of those issues in pshifter spaces than in alterhuman spaces, and it is not because the pshifter is well behaved but because the spaces grew up in two different parts of the internet. The denial of humanity in pshifter spaces is taking a physical route, diet changes, things that have literal changes to the chemicals in the body through shifting and our cultural practices. I feel like an alien waking up and seeing therian discourse for the 34th time this year. Alterhumans still hold onto their ability to exist in human society, even when many of them say otherwise, and that grip is not loosened. I understand those who medically canāt unlatch from humanityās standards and physically become else, but for those who wish to no longer live like a human, who want to be treated as nonhuman, and those who are able to disappear from society⦠why not start now?
Put down those tools, pick up a guide on body modification, and live your dreams. If you are afraid of being one step away from humanity, why live in that fear forever? Really, it only makes it harder to leave your anthropocentrism at the door.

Incredibly good morning.
Kids, todays lesson is about older media. For those who know me and/or have kept up with these entries, I know you're already rolling your eyes because I've drilled this point so far into the ground it's poking out the other side. But I'm deadly serious.
There is an astounding lack of dedication and care in story writing nowadays. And I don't say this as a 75 year old man that wishes people would make movies as good as the "oldies", I say this as a know-nothing 21 year old woman that is actively living during an egregious oversight. One that is, to my knowledge, a fairly recent problem, too. Sure, there have always been cheesy movies and media created just to earn a buck, but from what I've experienced, the good used to outweigh the bad.
Okay so today on tumblr I saw a post that said āthe unhealthiness in pinkberry never being addressed is bad.ā And in a way, I agree.
I donāt have an issue with someone saying that the unhealthiness with Brooke x Chloe should be addressed but I raise you this.
Every single be more chill ship is unhealthy except Jenna and Christine and some random other smaller ships.
So why does everyone only ever single out Chloe and Brooke when talking about unhealthiness in be more chill ships?
Boyf riends is unhealthy. First of all Jeremy just dropping Micheal whenever he wanted and not apologising unless he needed something but still being immediately forgiven? Not healthy.
Richjake is unhealthy. I love richjake but I really donāt need to go into the millions of reasons why theyād both need therapy before they can date.
Expensive headphone / rich x Jeremy (I forget the ship name) is unhealthy. I fucking hate the bully x victim trope it doesnāt make sense in any way and I know rich is different without the Squip but my point still stands.
Fucking stage dorks is unhealthy. Again, I love stagedorks when done right but they should never have ended up together. Jeremy drugging her, not taking no for an answer, never apologised and still deciding to shoot his shot and somehow she says yes?? Not super healthy in my book.
I just think itās very interesting that the only major wlw ship in the fandom is hated on constantly for being toxic but so many of the mlm ships are just as toxic (some worse) and no one ever says anything about them.

(I could defend Chloe and talk about the misogyny in this fandom for hours but Iāll save that for another essay.)

So to me the Technocracy (in its 20th and 21 century incarnations, anyway, the early Technocracy/Order of Reason is different in some significant respects) represents a view of the world that is divorced from anything other than data and hard facts. This viewpoint is not exclusive to scientism, the paradigm I discussed in my recent post on the Technocracy, and is in fact an arguable core of pragmatism itselfā there are times when it is essential to put aside ideals, emotions, and speculation and work only with what you can tangibly interact with. Sometimes, you have to put aside how the world should or could be, and work only with what it provably, unquestionably is.
But if youāve ever discussed politics with someone who keeps insisting āwell, thatās just how the world is,ā rather than engaging with new ways of thinking or unconventional ideals, youāll probably have realized that this way of looking at things can be profoundly limiting.
(Incidentally, this is why I think thereās the tendency to align most Technocrats with Stasis/The Weaverā the paradigm of technology itself can be Dynamic, Entropic, and Questing in a lot of cases, but the way the Technocracy uses it is broadly static, I think.)
Letās use an example here, and talk about climate change. Thereās a tendency to view the people most effectively driving climate changeā the executives who profit off it, the lobbyists and politicians who sustain it, the demagogues and conspiracists who argue against its realityā as malevolent. They know what theyāre doing, they know how it hurts the world and the people who inhabit, and theyāre fine with it. Maybe some of them even enjoy it. This is basically the tack Werewolf: The Apocalypse takes with Pentex, for instance.
And that view is, to a larger extent than I think is remotely comfortable, true. Reckoning with the truth in that is part of what makes Werewolf fun, and itās also one of the drivers on Mageās own Nephandi.
But, I think itās also true that most of the people responsible for ecological collapse donāt see themselves as doing anything wrong, and are instead able to just elide the details of the morality and ramifications of their industry/system/ambition and focus purely on the benefit. As said earlier, that is sometimes necessaryā in an immediate crisis it can even be a godsendā but in the long-term and on a wider scale it can be quite damaging.
See, if you focus only on quantifiable data, thereās a way to look at climate change as kind of a trade-off you make for important numbers to go up. Industrialization is, economically speaking, incredibly beneficial, the advancement of technology improves not only wealth, but also security, communication, and even quality of life, and from the point of view of certain fields (at least as they currently exist) like agriculture, commercial shipping, energy production, and so on, the policies that really combat the bad effects of climate change would be disastrous! Canāt we afford a few more degrees Celsius for all that?
And if you want to get really dark, thereās the fact that wealthy countries and their oligarchs are going to be the least affected by natural disasters, resource conflicts, and pandemics. It wonāt be easy, sure, but nothing ever is, and from a realpolitik standpoint, if other nations (which are potential threats after all) suffer those bad effects more than you do, then maybe weathering the storm is tactically viableā¦
So all in all, donāt pump the brakes, and certainly donāt reinvent the wheel here! Weāve got a good thing going, and it could be chaos to stop it! Hell, with all the benefits weāre getting, we might even invent some gadget or technique to solve the worst of it.
But of course, this misses so much. In the same way that topics I wanted to touch on, like algorithmic culture and automation, may have valuable benefits from certain points of view, you have to look at the whole picture. With climate change, you already see mass extinctions, and no amount of restorative cloning is going to reverse the ecological damage there. Weāre going to see an increase in displacement and homelessness by disasters and the need for people to relocate from dangerous areas, which will ruin lives, if not end them. To say nothing of the inhumanity of allowing suffering on this scale when something can be done about it, right now!
But how do you prove that āecological damage,ā āruined lives,ā and āinhumanityā are worse than the loss of trillions+ of dollars which weād have to spend to avoid them? Itās apples to orangesā no, itās the abstract to the concrete. If someone only wants to think about the numbers, then thereās at least a debate. Thereās cost benefit analysis and logistic comparisonā but not action.
Now, I am simplifying significantly here. There are many reasons that climate change and other societal crises arenāt addressed beyond scientism, or political inertia, or even just greed and selfishness. To name a few, we also struggle against ignorance, against fear, against exhaustion, against bigotry, against the unknown. Itās not so simple. One of the problems with the worldview Iām attacking is its tendency to simplify things by smoothing over the issues, so I donāt want to do that.
But I do think that the biggest issues in our society canāt be tackled with cold math and a focus on what nets the best cost-to-benefit ratio. I think in a lot of cases, that kind of thinkingā which, to bring it back to the point, is the kind of thinking the Technocracy embodiesā is what got us these issues in the first place.

you and i will never know the truth of universe, you and i, are simply twinkling of stars, a drop in a desert, not even mere dust ,we are completly and uterly insignificant.
we are to the stars,planets and the cosmos, what atoms and sub atomic particles are too us , invisble too the eyes.
i do not belive in a superier being , but if we are just creations of a being so uterly powerfull than us, are exixtence can not be special to them, i do not assume, the god, the superior being's intentions would be of malice, but we are only one of their billions of creations, which is among thier uncountable creations. we will not mater, atleast, no special treatment shall be granted, the flow of time, and the natural order of things, Death, the ending, will come for us all.

Future AUs take place after the show and before the movie in the bad timeline (I hope by now you know there is time travel that happens) basically after the Kraang start taking over the world the turtles start a resistance (which normally has mutants, humans and yokai(s?) all work together) they all end up dying at some point (that doesn't not mean that death is permanent) but Donnie and Raph always die first (due to cannon)
Arcane AUs
It's what it says on the tin AUs based on the show Arcane. These are really interesting, tbh, and I have seen two of these that exist that surprises me.
Villain AUs
It is basically what it says on the tin: an AU where one (or more) of the turtles turns evil (in this style, it is normally Donnie who turns evil because yeah......) or is evil because it is a separation AU, and they were raised by evil spider lady or evil goat man (again, it is normally Donnie who is evil)
Cowboy AUs

I have only seen art for this AUs and haven't seen any comics or fanfics, so I have no idea about the lore..... (I am pretty sure they just gave peepaw Leo (future Leo) a cowboy hat and went from there, but I could be wrong)
